Intrigued and Intriguing –
I’ve tried CNP’s ampule before and was super excited for this. It’s much lighter and sinks into the skin very quickly. If you’re new to propolis, I highly recommend checking this out because others can be a bit too thick and sticky if you have oily skin or live in a humid climate. It’s very hydrating and softening on the skin. It’s mildly soothing but the hydration and honey skin glow is what makes this a stellar toner essence. It’s pricey but compared to their ampule, this is a great place to start without breaking the bank.

This gentle toner makes my skin soft and soothes it. I use this after I wash my face, and I follow with a serum and moisturizer. This does not cause me any redness, irritation, or breakouts.

I love how this feels on my skin. Very easy to apply, comes in a glass bottle that has a small opening so you only get a small drop each time and not waste the product. I like that it has the English translation on one side which is helpful. Propolis is always a good ingredient so definitely worth a try! It is also a good size bottle so it will last a while, making the price more affordable. Happy customer!

This is a nice and lightweight toner and very popular in Korea right now.
I was excited to try and I was impressed with the bottle is made in glass instead cheap plastic.
The consistency doesn’t leave my skin sticky and still leaves a glowy and hydrated feel.

This is the first propolis skincare product I’ve used, so I was a bit nervous at first seeing as my skin can be somewhat sensitive. I do struggle with redness/flushing due to rosacea too, so I love that this contains centella and HA. My skin loves both those ingredients. Thankfully I haven’t experienced any irritation with this!
On first impression, I really appreciated that the bottle has a seal to impart authenticity and quality control. They also include the expiration date. You can see the full ingredient list in English in my second photo.
The essence itself has a fairly thin, watery consistency (photo 3.) It really only takes a few good drops to cover my entire face and neck, so this bottle will last a long time. I would say the essence leaves skin with a natural looking finish, definitely not dewy, oily, or matte.
I’ve been using it after cleansing, on slightly damp skin. It spreads easily and absorbs very quickly. It only takes a minute for it to be completely soaked in, then I finish my routine with any other serums, moisturizer, and SPF during the day. It plays well with every other skincare product I’ve used so far, and hasn’t contributed to any pilling or separation when worn under my makeup.
It’s actually really gentle, helps calm my flushing, and provides a nice extra dose of hydration to my combo skin. I only chose to take off 1 star from my rating because I’m not the biggest fan of fragrance/scent in skincare products. This product does have a faint scent (can’t pinpoint, but it seems like maybe a honey/floral scent?) but you can’t smell it at all once it’s absorbed.
Overall, I think it’s a really nice formula and that it’s made with quality ingredients. I have had positive results so far, so I would definitely recommend if you’re okay with scented products and are looking for a new treatment ampoule to add to your routine for calming hydration. I hope to continue seeing improvement, especially with the evening of my tone.
