50 plus years, smells so good and it is lovely on baby’s fine hair. Helps baby’s hair lay down or curl without fly away. It isn’t greasy, just right. Perfect for smoothing and making baby cuter than they already are just like the bottle says !! I was so excited to find it for my new granddaughter.

This certainly didn’t “curl” my baby’s hair, and it is an “oil” more than a lotion. My toddler has naturally very curly hair to begin with so I got this to try to tame her hair down a bit. It helps a bit, I like the way it smells, but it does make it so her hair gets really messy really fast and it stays that way. I don’t bathe her everyday because her skin dries out easily and this stuff kind of leaves her hair greasy feeling, leaving me no choice but to wash her hair on the days we use it. It might work better for a child with a different textured hair.

I’ve used this product for over fourth years in babies. Great smell and helps that fine baby hair to curl. I wouldn’t be without it.

Wonderful product. It helps naturaly curly hair get a more defined curl. Not sure it will curl straight hair, but it is a great product to define a babys curls without putting any harsh chemicals on a babys hair. The one main reason I love it is how awesome it works to combat cradle cap. I tried selsum blue shampoo, baby oil, and frequent washes and still the cradle cap returned. But with this product the cradle cap is kept at baby without constant washes.
My one complaint is the fact that although it is called a lotion it is actually a liquid and makes it a bit harder to put on a babys hair. It has spilled out of my hand because it feels like your holding water in your palm.
Some other reviews has said it leaves the hair oily. I would have to disagree. It dries and leaves the curls looking defined without being oily.

Oh my goodness! If you need proof that babies are HEAVEN SENT, use this and they will have their own HEAVEN SCENT!! Coupled with Mennon Baby Magic and your baby will smell even sweeter!!
So happy I have found this again. I used it on all my four babies (even until they were in school) just keeps their little heads smelling so good. Teachers always told me my kids would not smell sweaty and stinky after recess in the afternoons, thanks to this!
