This cleansing cream works superbly. It is thick and rich and creamy and foams up easily with the addition of a little water when using it. It cleans away the day’s grime quickly and leaves your face feeling fresh, soft, and very clean, and unlike many soaps, you are not left with a tightness to your skin after drying off. The product has little, if any, scent. Be careful with the amount you use as only a little is required for a facial cleanse. Overdo the squeeze from the tube and you’ll find yourself rinsing off for a long while. It would be a waste of product as well since the extra won’t clean your face any further. You’ll save money by extending the number of cleanses you are able to get from each tube too. Try this cleanser – it works very well and it leaves your face/skin feeling clean, fresh, and supple.

Update: I decided to try it again since my experience was so unusual. It went much better the second time. Not sure why I had such a weird reaction the first time, but no coughing, no irritation, no issues the second time. And it actually did a pretty good job of cleansing my face and didn’t leave a bad scent behind. I don’t know what happened the first go round, but in fairness, I had to try again and I’m glad I did. I also noticed another cleanser bothered my throat in a similar manner but without the coughing, so maybe my allergies are just working overtime at the moment. But I no longer feel this specific product is to blame and in fairness have updated my review to reflect this. This was completely my decision and I was not contacted by anyone nor asked to alter my review. And I wouldn’t do so if I were to be contacted. But I do believe in fairness and did not want to put a stigma on a product unless I was completely and 100% certain it was the cause. My original review , written shortly after my first use follows.
This was an interesting trial. I used it for the first time tonight and immediately regretted it. First, the balm doesn’t have a bad scent but it is a weird one. It immediately makes me think of the smell of spackle. But it’s not terrible and I’ve smelled far worse. However, as soon as I began to lather my face with it, I immediately felt a sharp tickle in the back of my throat and nose and then began gasping, choking, and coughing uncontrollably. My wife heard the commotion and came running in the bathroom to make sure I was okay. I quickly washed the small amount of balm off my face with my usual cleanser but kept coughing off and on for the next hour. There is no doubt in my mind that something in this balm does not agree with me and possibly caused a severe allergic reaction. I’m not sharing this to trash the product. People have allergies and it could very well be an otherwise innocuous ingredient. Sharing mostly in case anyone else encounters what I encountered. Needless to say, this was my first and last use. This is not for me.

My skin can be pretty sensitive but I found this product to work well. My face felt clean and I experienced none of the tightness associated with dryness that I often do after cleansing. I had a small breakout after use and do t know what to attribute that to but after clearing up I had no further issues.
