The husband says that he likes this beard scrub a lot, says it lathers really well and leaves his beard feeling squeaky clean. He added that the exfoliants are a bit hard to feel on the skin, and you do need to use a conditioner after the scrub, but he does have a pretty thick beard. Overall, he likes the scrub and would repurchase.

My husband usually washes his face with regular body wash or shampoo. Since he often has a beard, I thought this would be a good product for him to try and keep his face clean. He has liked it so far and the first time he used it, he said his beard felt it’s softest ever. He also liked the smell. Overall, happy with the purchase and will definitely consider buying it again when he runs out.

Let’s start positive: This Cleverman facewash foams nicely, has a bracing smell, but doesn’t leave my face stinging or dry (which I sort of expected with the menthol fragrance). I didn’t find the scrubbing beads got my face any cleaner than my usual bead-less neutral face wash, but the sensation wasn’t unpleasant, even in my one-week beard growth. The product is also decently packaged; while the shiny silver plastic of the cap looks a little cheap, the rest of the package is well branded, and the Italian-manufactured scrub has a good texture and scent.
But it’s 2024 and we know more about the potential impact of our personal care products than we did 10 years ago. This product is still too new to show on any lists of environmental checkups yet, but you can run the ingredients list past the worst-offenders-lists put out by a number of organizations.
The number 2 ingredient in this facewash? Acrylates Copolymer, a “red flag” ingredient according to anti-microplastics organization Beat The Microbead, based on UN Environment Programme recommendations.
It’s impossible to recommend this facewash until they fix their microplastics problem, which is really a bummer since this is an otherwise great product from Cleverman. I hope they reformulate and hop back in with a revised version soon!

Cleverman Sensitive Face and Beard Scrub, 100ml – Invigorating Facial Cleanser is a high quality face wash.
It is clear, smells good, and after washing the face, it doesn’t make your skin dry. Very refreshing smell without sting, it smells like your face is clean too. High build quality in my opinion for men’s facial cleanser.

This facial wash is super invigorating. It does smell of mint quite strongly but that’s okay. It lathers well,and leaves my husband’s face feeling clean and exfoliated. His beard is left soft and manageable.
