I love this! It’s yummy but I also find that it doesn’t dissolve as well as the other flavors. I see more clumping with this flavor. I’ll still continue to order it because I enjoy the taste

I’ve been looking for a soluble protein powder FOR YEARS and haven’t been able to find one that doesn’t end up chunky/milky, and then I bumped into this. This product is perfect. Put it in a water bottle/shake/thermis and give it a good shake and it will blend perfectly, minimal lumps and no funky texture. Can drink before/during/after workout, and it’s perfect for drinking at room temp, which helps when I forget my thermis somewhere and it’s not cold.
It’s the first protein I’ve got where I can put it in my bottle at the start of the day, and drink it slowly throughout the day instead of having a smoothie warm up and become nasty. I have a sweet tooth, so I went with the Watermelon flavor and really liked the taste. No weird aftertaste and love the fact that it’s not milky, so it can really go into anything. Honestly seems like gatorade, except packed with protein.
My one beef is that the 5 serving size is really only 5 servings… wouldn’t have minded a bit more. Also, want to float the idea of a caffeinated version… that would make it ideal to drink before my workout too to get me going. But if you’re looking for an easy way to pack some protein in during the day, look no further. This is it.

I love the fact that this is a clear protein without all of the other stuff included in “creamy” protein powders. The taste is alright; please note that it is better chilled.
The “but” is that it clearly states on the bottle to not blend… So I put into a shaker bottle and shake. The bottle also says to let it settle. I let it settle and after settling I open the shaker bottle and I see little white beads that look like Styrofoam that sticks to the lid and sides of the shaker. So, I shake again and and the little beads kinda sorta dissolve, but don’t.
So, I suck it up, add more water after I consume the first 10 ounces of water and try to dissolve what’s in the bottle.
Meh, I get the protein. I suppose that is the bottom line.

Clumps. Tried mixing in hot water and it still clumps. Looks like cottage cheese. Taste is ok. Nothing to write home about.

It clumps and must sit few minutes to dissolve but still smaller clumps. I purchased orange flavor. It was not good taste. Lastly the size purchased showed it only had 5 servings per container. Low cost of product still wasn’t worth it. Going back to 1up Nutrition- as it does dissolve after a minute and favors are much better.

Pros:
Flavor is about like Vitamin Water, not too sweet, not too strong. Mixes super easy. The fruity flavors and low lactose level make it a nice snack, pre-workout, or late-night option versus creamy / milky traditional whey (which is great in coffee). It does in fact mix really easy and doesn’t leave a funky smell in your shaker bottle.
Cons:
The only negative that I can think of is that for a little under $2 / serving, it’s not cheap. But keeping a tub around the office or for a late night snack seems like a reasonable option. I also wish there was stevia rather than sucralose as the sweetener.
Overall:
This is a super solid product. Animal definitely cut down on the ingredients without sacrificing flavor or convenience — if anything it mixes much easier than traditional whey, and the fruit flavors are good any time. You’re still getting a decent whack of protein just having some flavored “water.”
