I have a high cholesterol problem which is hereditary, I don’t want to go on pharmaceutical interventions so I wanted to go the natural route. I do believe in the antioxidant powers of Bergamot, I was familiar with Bergamot already because my tea of choice is Earl Grey which is flavored with bergamot. Bergamot is a special species of orange grown in the Mediterranean with thick bumpy skin where they extract the oil.
Bergamot is used for high levels of cholesterol or other fats in the blood according to WebMD. In general, bergamot oil has a wonderful aroma and is great for reducing anxiety and increasing mental alertness so is often used in fragrance products.
This Citrus Bergamot blend has the added benefit of niacin, black choke Berry, and black pepper.
I thought I would give this a try and have been taking this before my next check-up with the doctor which will include bloodwork for cholesterol.

Wow this Citrus Bergamot supplement is amazing! I really like all the other added vitamins that complement the citrus bergamot, with the exception of Niacin as I will explain later. I decided to receive this supplement to help me with my daily stress. It carries a lot of antioxidant properties and promotes healthy cholesterol, which I need. I found this very beneficial to my body and did not have any side effects. I would just say the taste is bitter, but can easily be tolerated by swallowing quickly. No aftertaste or side effects for me while taking these.
The reason I had to take a way a star is because of the most recent new research that has come out from Niacin. New research shows Niacin may be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Please do your research and always consult your healthcare professional before taking any supplement. I would have preferred the Niacin to be removed as a result of these new studies. Overall I still love this product, and would have given it a 5 star but removed 1 star as per the above statements. I would highly recommend researching to see if this is right for you!

I am big fan of polyphenols, especially as part of the Mediterranean diet (red wine, grapes, blueberries, olive oil etc). Polyphenols like resveratrol from grapes, or polyphenols like here from Citrus bergamot and olives/olive leaves seem to have significant and reliable health benefits as documented in the scientific literature.
This prep contains polyphenols from Citrus Bergamot and olive leaves. I really like the transparency of this distributor in India who honestly states the Indian manufacturer, which seems to be a small company established in 2018 also offering various private label products.
The manufacturer does have an international WHO-GMP certificate. If you can live with the fact that it is produced in India and doesn’t have any US or FDA certification, I think it’s a good product.

Citrus Bergamot has a lot of health properties, such as cholesterol control, sleep aid, memory, alertness, and others. A few days is not enough to test if this supplement really works, but the product did come as advertised. It comes in easy to swallow capsules and the jar has a pleasant smell. It sort of smells like citrus iced tea, or iced tea with an orange and lemon wedge in it. The capsule goes down easily, and it appears to contain the proper measurement of citrus bergamot. No complaints so far!

This citrus bergamot is a decent product. I think the components of it complement each other. The capsules are of average size and difficulty swallowing–just use water. I had no problems with this product.
