TRULY SUPERIOR TO OTHER BRANDS, because they contain no fillers, exipients, extenders, preservatives, flow agents, or any of the other myriad toxic ingredients used commonly in the manufacture of vitamins and supplements (primarily for the convenience of the manufacturer, with no concern for buyers like me, who consume huge amounts of supplements every day).
you really have to read the labels, and know what these “inactive ingredients” actually are.
if this is new information to you, here’s a couple examples:
most commercial vitamins contain “silica”. that’s the scientific name for SAND.
and loads of vitamins, supplements and pharmaceutical medications contain “titanium dioxide”. that’s the chemical name for WHITE PAINT. and sure, the FDA has rated it non-toxic – because it’s such a small amount in one pill. but i take around a hundred pills every day (i don’t do multi-vits; i want total control of the doses and ingredients), and i’ve been doing this for well over 50 years. so clearly, consumers like me are not being at all envisioned, when they say it’s “safe in tiny amounts” – but I DON’T CONSUME TINY AMOUNTS; I CONSUME LARGE AMOUNTS, 7 DAYS A WEEK, 365 DAYS A YEAR. so i spend a lot of time & effort searching & scouring for ‘clean’ products, TOTALLY free of any-&-all exipients. the FDA does not think about people like me; they are classing these substances with the assumption that it’s one person, taking one pill. i am happy to pay more, to avoid all these poisons.
good job ALERNA!
but the really good news, is that this brand of 99mg. potassium citrate [ALERNA] costs exactly the same as the other brands, which do contain their various varieties of toxins laced through.
so ‘m happy to have found this product (after my previous brand – which had been pure for years & years – suddenly starting adding in the sand and paint and other “exipients” – which i go to great lengths and expense, to scrupulously avoid. (lesson: you have to keep checking the label from time to time, to make sure they haven’t changed their formulation.)
all products, no matter how noble or high-minded or well-intended, are being sold for profit – and that’s fine. everybody needs to make a living, and/or work in some way. but you should not fall for the sales pitch that their main interest is YOUR WELL-BEING. the only one who can ensure that, IS YOU!
and please don’t delude yourself: it’s not about being rich or poor – it’s about: why wouldn’t you be willing to research more carefully, and if necessary, pay a bit extra, to avoid needlessly ingesting poisons?

I find it difficult to swallow tablets. Capsules go down the hatch so much easier. I am so glad to find a Potassium Citrate capsule rather than a tablet.

I don’t do many reviews but this blew me away. My doctor has me on 3 blood pressure meds and my pressure was still outrageously high. One week ago it was 178/94! Four days taking Alerna potassium citrate and my blood pressure is way down. My doctor couldn’t figure this out so I had to. My blood pressure hasn’t been this low in many years. I’m a bit dizzy but I’m told that’s normal if your blood pressure drastically goes higher or lower. I might even consider getting off my prescription blood pressure meds one at a time and carefully tracking my pressure

So far, things seem to be fine with this. I take it with Natural Calm magnesium to give me a good balance. They keep my heart
from skipping beats, as it is prone to do so every now and then from constantly fighting with hormonal inbalances. It’s good to
take also if you work out in the heat. I am not disappointed in this product.

best potassium citrate i’ve found so far. NO EXIPIENTS or other TOXINS. btw, if ur doctor prescribed urokrit (for kidney stones), at $80 a bottle or more at the phrarmacy, that’s the exact same as taking 7 of these throughout the day, at about one-tenth of the cost. (plus the prescribed product is loaded with unneeded toxins.)
~~ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND OF POSTASSIUM CITRATE.

I like how small these little capsules are in addition to how they do their job without any stomach or intestine irritation. I also appreciate that the capsules are vegetarian. I live in AZ & can be prone to getting dehydrated which leads to muscle cramps if I over exert myself doing outside chores, go too long without quality sleep or do not pay attention to getting proper nutrients in my daily diet. I have been taking these for about 6 months now & recommend them.
