I tried this product from Chuga thinking it would be the same as a previous order. It was not. This tasted very bad and was hard and difficult to stir. I can’t return it, which is a shame because it’s beyond terrible and is going in the trash.

I stumbled upon Shilajit and the benefits of it and wanted to try it. I found Chuga and ordered from them based on reviews and their professional image. When I got mine in the mail, the first night I tried it with hot water to make a tea and within 5 minutes after finishing my cup, I was out like a light.
I wasn’t sure if it was because I was extra sleepy ot what so I tried it every night after that & sure enough, it works! You literally feel your whole body relaxing and your brain starting to shut down like closing out apps on your computer.
I went on vacation and forgot it so I tried to buy another brand and it wasn’t the same consistency, the taste was awful and did not have the same effects for me before bed.
I suffer from a lot of anxiety and it’s hard to “power down” before bed for me — this has been a game changer. I’m sleeping fully and waking up recharged. I’m not quite sure that’s what it’s meant to do, but for me, it 10/10 recommend.
Oh! Also this was huge, my original package did not come with the little spoon to scoop the resin out, I emailed them and they sent it out right away with a hand written note! Talk about customer service.

Frustrated Beyond Belief –
I originally purchased this product for its reported longevity effects. Noticed quite a few other unexpectedly amazing effects (several hours after the first dose!). Some of those effects were:
1. AMAZING mood enhancement. I am generally an upbeat person but I feel an inner peace that has translated into a better mood since starting. Even more so, my girlfriend (who can be a bit moody) has been in glorious moods since. Even she cannot believe how great she feels!
2. Super enhanced sleep quality. Again I’ll have to point to my girlfriend. She often cannot make it through the night without waking. She has been having uninterrupted sleep since we started taking it. It’s insane what a difference this made for her.
3. Major sex drive increase. This goes for both of us.
4. Faster recovery from our workouts. We have been going on many walks and runs. Normally I get pretty sore from them, especially the longer runs. But I’ve noticed that I recover much more quickly
Lastly, I’ll just mention, the owner of Chuga (Pat) really cares for his customer. I was concerned when I first purchased a jar because poor quality shilajit can contain heavy metals and other contaminants. He quickly allayed my fears and produced a lab report that checked out nicely. Additionally, he spent time to inform me on proper dosage given my age and health status. Really impressive. Thanks Pat!

This is the second time I ordered this product this time around. I got a smaller bottle for the same price. I bought it for the first time that contains less than they claim it brings.

First off, the first 2 days I took it my kidneys were hurting so bad I thought I was going to pass a kidney stone.
It may have been a coincidence but it was the only thing I had done differently so I assumed it was because of the high mineral content in the Shilajit.
But I kept taking it and by the 3rd day the pain had subsided and hasn’t come back.
I gave my mom 1 dose and her kidneys started hurting the next day and kept hurting for almost 2 weeks.
I told her maybe she needed to take more of it? 🤷♂️ Lol
But she was too scared to keep trying it and it eventually subsided.
I used to get kidney stones all the time before I changed my diet, turns out it we dairy causing them.
I’m not sure if it broke something up or what, but, 🤞 let’s hope, no more kidney pain for me so far.
The flavor is actually nice, kind of smoky when you put it in water, sort of like an earthy black tea.
As far as an energy boost goes, not that I’ve really noticed, maybe slightly, but I do have other health problems that aren’t going to fix themselves immediately.
I have noticed myself waking up slightly earlier and going to bed a little earlier, that may be a coincidence, or it could be my body gravitating towards a more balanced sleep schedule as I do tend to stay up kind of late.
I’ve been taking pea sized servings 2-3 times a day for the past few weeks.
I may use a little more than some people but I wanted to make sure I was using an efficacious dose as it’s hard for me to find something that actually gives me energy as I’m pretty much fatigued all the time.
I’ve taken close to half of the 15G jar now so it does last awhile, especially if you used less.
Update: I’ve finished the jar and it did last a couple of months even taking a good pea sized dose 2-3 times a day.
I’ll see if my energy decreases over the next few days until another brand comes in, and I’ll update this if I feel any different either way.
I wanted to try a few different brands to see if there’s a difference as this is my first time buying Shilajit.
This seems like a good brand for the price, although I think there are some better ones out there? I’m not really sure.

This product doesn’t seem to be like any of the other ones I’ve tried with the other ones I had a instant boost of energy within a couple of days. This one here puts me to sleep not right.
