I am a red head so I will never be able to tan from the sun. I found this when a company I used changed up their sunless tanner and added a tint (which I do not care for) This stuff works great and NO gross smell! It’s so much better than my old product. I am happy I had to search for a new product. You still have to take care of your skin like you do after a spray tan. But I find that with all sunless tanning products if I want the tan to last more than a couple days. I bought 1 & 2. I use 2 so start my tan off and 1 a few days later to keep the color going. Great product!!!!

I got this because I was looking for a clean sunless tanning lotion to add a little color to my pasty legs as the weather starts to get warmer and the spring dresses come out. I ended up putting it on my whole body, including my face because curiosity and the fear of streaking got the best of me. My face/neck/chest darkened the most and the rest of my body did not darken quite as much, but it definitely gave a nice little tint everywhere. The next day I reapplied all over my whole body but skipped my face that time and everything evened out perfectly. I must have used more on my face etc, so just make sure to use the same application “thickness” everywhere. I can’t speak to how long it lasts because I am only on day 3 after the initial application but so far I am extremely pleased with this lotion. It blends well and if you are paying attention when you apply, it won’t be splotchy at all assuming you get the right level for your skin tone. I have light skin and got a 2. I didn’t break out at all despite having sensitive skin. Also, it smells like pure cocoa heaven even after developing!

Bummer! Let me start off by saying I do not have sensitive skin and have used other self-tanning products in the past. I was so excited to use this product, given that it is not your typical chemical-laced tanner.
I had heard great things, was excited when it arrived and it smells great. Then the hives. 🙁 Within 12 hours, I was covered in the areas I applied (legs and arms were the only areas affected). I thought it may have been stress related at the time, as I knew someone else who used and loves this product so I put it away and didn’t think about it for some time (though I was disappointed to be pale, I just dealt with it).
Then sometime later, I picked the bottle up again and figured I would give it another ‘go’. SO SAD – the same thing happened again—itchy, bumpy hives all over the areas where I applied.
Sorry to say that this was a waste of $40 (not something I like to have to throw away). If you are going to buy this, beware. And definitely use the product within the return shipping time, in case this happens to you!

I’ve actually been paying this product for many years now. The packaging has changed but that’s about it , the product is still the same great sunless tanner. I love getting the light and the medium color Depending on how much tan I want to get. Sometimes I will even mix them together in my hand To get a good combination. In the Winter time it’s nice to use the lighter one just to still have a warm glow. Always start with your feet and legs and rub in a circular motion. If you don’t want to stain your hands then I recommend Washing your hands after each body section( after both legs, wash, move up body and repeat). If you want your hands to blend into your arm then you take a towel when you are all done and gently rub Is some of the product off To softly blend the transition. It works like a charm every time. And it’s best to do it at night so you can sleep while it processes and wake up with a nice tan! It does not have a funky smell. It does kind of smell like chocolate. Great product
