This review is for the Chapter One Magnesium Gummies for Kids & Adults – Natural Calm Gummies.
First, they have a very nice apple flavor, which of course, the apple flavor is noted on the bottle.
Now, I’m taking these for myself. I’m not a kid, but in my 60’s, and the product description said for kids and adults, so I’m given the green light, lol.
I’m rating 5 stars for easy to swallow because these are a gummy, you don’t really swallow these, you slowly suck on them but I suppose if there is some swallowing here, its very easy.
Okay, for sleep quality, I think these are helping me relax a bit, though not a lot. In all fairness, I’m guessing the manufacturer went a bit light on the dosage (2 gummies give you just 24% of DV) since these are also meant for kids who would be better off with smaller dosages.
Anyway, I’m enjoying taking two every night before bed and do feel a little calming effect.
Other things to note is these have the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) label, they are peanut, tree nut, diary, gluten, soy, and egg free. They are also Kosher, according to the label.
They do have 3g added sugar which, according to the label, adds up to 6% of DV, but that doesn’t seem to much to me.

These gummies are definitely a great way to get the kiddos to take their vitamins. They arrived perfectly sealed and fresh. You can taste a hint of apple. They aren’t the kind of gummy that just sticks to your teeth which is a plus. They are also not overly sweet. I do feel though that they contain too many macro nutrients for being a vitamin just for magnesium. Overall it’s a good option for little ones and they should have no problems taking them as they taste great according to mine.

This is my kids favorite magnesium. and this is their favorite flavor. I wasn’t sure this was making a difference and so I quit giving it to my kids. Within the monthly, not a mood change, and a sleep change. This is one supplement that we will never go without again. we have neurodivergent children and this is a must have. It helps with their ADHD, they’re sleeping, their mood, and their emotions. The gummy is delicious. They have no problem taking it. The serving sizes about two gumdrops

My kids were excited to see apple as the new flavor for their nightly magnesium gummies. They really like the apple flavor of these gummies (I think they taste pretty good, too). The flavor isn’t obnoxiously strong so it doesn’t stick around and make their toothpaste taste weird afterwards.
I really like that there’s no dye used in these gummies, and gosh, could every other company get on board with this, please? I’m so tired of seeing foods etc. laden with the artificial dyes that everyone knows are terrible to ingest. We’ve known for years!– why are they even still a thing??
Anyway, the dose of magnesium per gummy is pretty average (I can’t remember what it is exactly–sorry!), though my kids end up taking two or three of these in order to get the same amount of magnesium they’re used to from another brand of magnesium they regularly take (they take a couple of those two). My kids probably take more than most other kids would though. With all three of my kids taking these gummies, and taking at least two a night each, a bottle won’t last us very long, but for as long as it lasts, my kids are excited to have a break from the same ol’ flavor of the other stuff.

These were recommended by our pediatrician for our son who started having some aggression, behavioral, not listening, rough & tumble boy behavior when he was a toddler at daycare. Since starting taking these magnesium supplements with his breakfast, his demeanor/calmness and behavior at school seems to have improved. It’s not a magic bullet and I know it’s different for all kids, but it has helped in our case. These also taste good enough for him to take each morning willingly and it makes me feel better that we didn’t have to jump straight into a trial of using a full fledged prescription medication to help with his symptoms.
