   Between the heat and the constant pressure changes, my headaches can get pretty brutal. This relief cap has been an absolute game changer. The moment I slide it on, the cool compression feels incredibly soothing. I love that it covers my whole head, providing a gentle, dark, and quiet space that really helps when I’m feeling sensitive to everything.
   The design is really smart. It has two different sides, one that’s super soft and another that gives a more intense cold, so you can choose what feels best. It gets plenty cold in the freezer but the gel never freezes solid, so it’s always soft and comfortable to wear, not like a block of ice on your head. It stays cold for a good amount of time too, long enough to really take the edge off a bad tension headache. This is a must-have for anyone in my situation.

   This cap is well made and I love that it has a very soft fuzzy side because that makes it so much more likely that you can use it straight out of the freezer without it being too cold. The fuzz acts to keep the full coldness from your head, and while you use that side, the other side can get a little warmer and be ready to use when the fuzzy side is no longer cold enough.

   Unfortunately, I found that it’s just a little too tight around my nose. I usually get the worst of my migraine pain between my eyes, and having it this tight actually made it press better there instead of hovering right over that area (which usually is what happens), but the bottom of the nose part was just too tight and the end presses into my nose, which often feels somewhat tender along with the pain. So it hurt there too much to keep it on. My head isn’t big, either. I think it’s average for an adult woman. I don’t mind the pressure elsewhere, but right there it was just too much. So I don’t think this would be a problem if you don’t mind yours to be tight, as the pressure is what a lot of people need to help them.

   UPDATE:
   I’m raising my rating from one star to three stars because I salvaged the dried up mask by soaking it it in water. It’s as squishy as it was when new, and doesn’t smell like ammonia anymore.
   It’s still annoying that the gel dries out much faster than other masks I’ve owned, but it’s usable now.

   I get a lot of migraines. My Miracle migraine mask had gotten stretched out and I decided to replace it with this one.
   At first I was really happy with the firm squishiness of the gel and the fit of the mask, but when it was on I noticed that there was a noticeable ammonia odor, which isn’t what you want on your face when you have a migraine. I decided to let it air out.
   It took about a week for the smell to go, but something else also happened: the gel had shrunk and was no longer luxuriantly squishy – – it had become kind of leathery. I looked at the package, and sure enough, it says in small print that you’re supposed to keep the mask in the plastic zip pouch it comes in.
   If I had, though, it would still have smelled like ammonia, so there was no winning with this one. My previous gel migraine masks didn’t smell, or noticeably dry out despite no special precautions on my part.

   I love this migraine head wrap! I’ve had others, but nothing works as well as this one. It fully wraps around my head and the coolness feels amazing. It doesn’t take long in the freezer to get it cold. As a migraine sufferer, I’m thrilled to have this cold head wrap.

   Extremely soothing and liked it better than other products because of the two sides. One is really cold and the alternate side is this soft plushy material. Stretched very well to provide pressure and help calm my headache

   If this is new to you, and you or someone you know has migraine issues, stop thinking and buy one. My wife looked at me weird when she first opened hers (which I first bought as an x-mas gift like 3 years ago). Now she says its probably the best gift I ever gave her and she uses it regularly. Enough that we got a 2nd one – which was this. She said the material is more…plushy… on this one so it doesnt stay cold (on the head) quite as long as the other one. But she still loves it and uses both keeping one in the freezer for rotation.

   I do not know how it becomes so cool and soothing but it does. It’s incredible. When you put this on your head it instantly starts turning your entire head cooler and cooler. When you have an unbearable headache, this is sometimes exactly what you need/want, and it has pressure that is not too much and not too little. I am overly impressed with this. The price point is great, it is comfortable and relieves headaches in my opinion.

   Since my Sherpa Migraine and Headache Relief Cap was delivered, I have found myself wearing it for so many different reasons! It has been a lifesaver after a night of having “one too many” followed by a next morning hangover headache. It’s been a great accessory to cool down after a strenuous workout…and as a woman..it’s the perfect addition to my PMS toolkit for those pesky hormonal migraines! I have even caught my teenage son stealing it for post-midterm headaches and more recently when he had a fever that wouldn’t subside, he said it was the only thing that made having the flu more tolerable having helped with both his headaches and night sweats. Planning on purchasing more as gifts for friends and family. I like that this cap is reversible and depending on which side you place toward your skin, there is a difference in temperature, a comfortable chill or an Arctic blast 🙂

   This purchase definitely exceeded my expectations.
