This is a nice serum, easily absorbing into the skin. I didn’t have any drying or reaction, even with my sensitive skin. While I haven’t noticed much difference in the appearance of old scars, it appears the clinical study shows results after 12+ weeks. Definitely need to use it consistently and for longer than the 3 weeks I have been.

First off I believe it’s a bit pricey for the amount you’re getting. You’ll definitely need more than one and some time to see and hope for results. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and feels good afterwards. Likes hydrated and smooth.

I added this to my nightly skin routine two months ago. While I plan to keep it because I like Cetaphil, and I think it is helping skin barrier health, I have not seen a big change in acne scarring. This may just be a product of time and my skin type. If you are looking for a quick fix, I don’t know if this will work miracles for you or not, but if you are looking for something to add to overall skin health, this serum does help the feel of my skin by reducing tightness and too much permeability.

Regarding the treatment of post-acne marks, it is important to be patient when using topical products as results may take time to become visible. So far, I have observed that the product is effective in moisturizing my skin and does not cause any breakouts. However, it may require more than 12 weeks of consistent use to see significant improvements. I am currently using it in combination with tretinoin at night.

I am very happy with this Cetaphil Gentle Clear Repairing Serum! The remnants of skin issues can make me feel self-conscious at times (especially at my age) and this bakuchiol-based serum is gentle on my skin and is working well to bring positive results. It is a clear serum that absorbs quickly. I’ve been using after cleansing my face and before moisturizing. It is a pretty small container but I have been using only on the areas that I’m concerned about. I trust Cetaphil to make high quality products and this one doesn’t disappoint!
I didn’t experience any irritation from repeated uses and I don’t see an expiration date listed.

The serum is scent free and a little goes a long way. I put on too much the first time because I was priming the pump and my face felt sticky for a while. I learned to use a little! It makes my face feel soft and there’s no irritation.

This is a lightweight serum that doesn’t sting, burn or leave behind an oily shine. I haven’t noticed a quick or exceptional improvement on the acne blemishes or inflammation since I started using it. There is a faint improvement and it just might take many weeks to see the full effect. It does however leave my skin feeling moisturized and soft.
