This ointment is very moisturizing and it is not sticky after applying it.
I put in on my DD butt right now since she’s having some redness and we don’t why. This has helped a lot since she stopped trying to scratch it and helped with the redness.
I tried it on the top of my hands to see how it feels and shockingly helps my dry skin and is very moisturizing. it is not sticky at all like others. I also like that it is unscented because our kids have sensitive skin they get rashes or flares up if they use scented stuff. Overall. I wish we had this when my firstborn was a baby and suffering from diaper rash, I think this would have been helpful, it’s like waxed/cream and not those in the tube.

We love this so much better than the white diaper cream. You can use so much less of it so you don’t feel like you’re slathering it all over your baby with reckless abandon, lol. I also really love the versatility of this product because it’s not just diaper cream. We also use it for eczema and dry skin. It doesn’t leave you greasy, so it’s a nice lotion like product that I like to use on my legs and back of my hands when I feel like they’re getting really dry.

As someone with sensitive skin, I trust Cetaphil products. The baby line is even more gentle than their usual products.
I love this ointment because even though its main ingredient is petroleum jelly, it doesn’t have the same sticky and thick consistency that petroleum based products usually do. The product feels a lot lighter and smoother, and best of all doesn’t have that suffocating oily feel. This works great as an ointment or a moisturizer. I use it on my dry skin and healing wounds. I’m very sensitive to tactile feel so I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy the way this feels so much.
The ointment does not have any fragrance which is a huge plus.
Overall highly recommend for everyone, not just babies.

I love the Cetaphil brand so much that I grabbed this item even though my baby is no longer a baby. I’m glad I did. I count on the regular Cetaphil cream as a moisturizer for hands, face and any other body parts in need of extra hydration. I’ve also been putting it on the eczema that regularly appears on my young son. He isn’t as big a fan of it as I am. So I was thrilled when he responded favorably to this even gentler alternative, which contains, in addition to the active ingredient petrolatum, shea butter, beeswax and microcrystalline wax. I’ve also been putting it on my own allergies-ravaged skin with an excellent result. I would have loved to have had Cetaphil baby on hand as a diaper cream instead of the thick, white cream we used. Beautiful stuff.
