These capsules have worked fantastic in helping me sleep. Not sure why it is not effective for some. I do have some crazy weird dreams when I take them but those have seemed to lessen over time. Getting ready to order my second round!

never heard about this brand but this product is more effective that so many famous brands, great for sleeping, and has no side effects in the morning, unlike other sleep products like melatonin and l-treptophan, etc.

I was first introduced to valerian root to treat my 80-pound dog who suffers from extreme anxiety when we go on car rides and tries to climb under my legs while I’m driving. But then I realized I could benefit from taking it, too.
I have a lot of stress, tension headaches, muscle spasms, anxiety, am a very light sleeper and I can’t take prescription medications because of my job as a heavy machine operator. So I tried one capsule of valerian root before bed and felt like a million bucks in the morning! I felt sooooo rested is the best way I can describe it. I didn’t feel groggy at all the next day. I have taken lorazepam in the past and valerian root doesn’t give me the same noticeable calming effect, but rather it’s more subtle. I took one capsule of valerian root one night when I started getting muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders and started getting a tension headache. After about an hour I realized my headache was gone. I’m not sure if that was a coincidence so I will keep treating any headaches I get and see if this continues.
I gave one to my dog just before a 3.5 hour car trip and she did great. She stayed in the backseat the whole time and I could tell she was more calm and tired, closing her eyes several times and laying her head down. Once we got home she slept great. I will try this for a thunderstorm which she also has anxiety from and see if it helps her for that, too.
Yes, the capsules smell like dirty gym socks. But if I take one out of the bottle and let it sit on the counter for a few minutes, the smell dissipates and the smell becomes less noticeable. And really, if these continue to help me the way they do, I could care less how it smells I will take them anyway. I wish there was more research on long-term usage because I can see myself taking these for a long time.
I definitely recommend trying these if you think they can help you. I read several articles that what works for some may not work for others but it’s worth a try!

My secret weapon for a good night’s sleep! So grateful for this valerian root supplement! Yes it’s a bit stinky, but that’s normal for a good quality valerian root. Luckily, it has no taste and works great!

I gave this product five stars because it works. Too well, for me. 2400 mg, and I was a zombie for 24 hours. I took for anxiety, and so I took it during the morning. 24 hours later, still feeling the effects of it. I was worthless yesterday. Very lethargic, and a dull headache. I slept a lot. I think I need to find a Valerian Root product with less mg per capsule.

This stuff works great; if you don’t mind swallowing encapsulated pills of finely ground dirty socks. I’m convinced this is just ground up socks from little kids; I would know because I used to be one and that’s exactly what my socks smelled like. This medicine has channeled all the sensory energy from every unkempt bachelor pad from time eternal, and shrunk it down into a little pill that stinks up your hand for thirty minutes after handling it.
That being said, it does make you pass out; whether by it’s medicinal properties or it’s pungent aroma, I do not know…
