To make a long story short … doctor told me that I had an Iron infusion in my future unless my lab number improved and recommended that, as a last resort, try a slow iron supplement. Gave me three months to turn the numbers around. Since iron supplements had never worked for me in the past, neither of us were expecting a positive outcome. Three months later, to our surprise, the Carlyle Slow Release Iron Supplement had greatly improved my lab results for retained iron and the doctor changed my scheduled three-month follow-up visit to a six-month appointment! I was looking for something less expensive than the Slo-Fe brand. This was much less, and I can’t tell any difference.

I accidentally bought the Bariatrics multivitamin that comes without the iron. Since I am a bariatric patient, I don’t eat much and keeping up with my vitamins is very vital since I don’t get my nutrition through food. Buying this helped me out a lot and it’s the correct grams I need and so small so easy to swallow! would recommend the purchase.

This product is working for me. How do I know? I donate plasma and they check your iron levels and mine I s a much higher number.
