I documented the time of nail growth with and without this product… this product increased the growth rate by 28%… The nail growth is an indicator for collagen production along with hair growth, as they all use silica in their production along with other micro nutrients
I consume this with vitamin K, powdered gelatin, and 1000 mg of MSM and 50mg of vitamin C….
.. there’s a synchronistic relationship of these in that they all support cartilage production along with nail and hair growth… (well documented on PUBMED)

Horsetail is however a diuretic.. Coffee and certain medication’s are also diuretics…. So if you are taking pharmaceutical diuretics you can consume a lower dosage of horsetail extract and supplement your diet with green beans as they have a high resulting silica blood level
most silica supplements are not absorbed by the gut and do not increase the blood level content, but silica from horsetail extract is the exception….
if you look on PubMed, they have graphs showing the amount of silica in the bloodstream after consuming green beans and horsetail extract.. The green beans typically create a higher silica level
if possible try to include the other micro nutrients I listed… leafy greens contain high amounts of vitamin K1 & K2.. most fruit and berries contain vitamin C… collagen is found in chicken skin and of course Jell-O… MSM is it worth the purchase as it is difficult to consume 1000 mg… it’s worth it because MSM is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, also well documented in research

At 76 years old, I am “thin skinned”. Will bruise from a dirty look, at least on my arms, probably from sun damage. Silica promised to help, to my surprise, it helped and quickly. I also used to wake up frequently at night, to take care of number 1. Or I did, now it’s once a night, but mostly out of habit. This stuff has fixed my bladder full sensor which was previously stuck on full. My bio watch says I’m getting “perfect” sleep now.

I bought this for hair and skin but my dentist said my bone loss in my jaw has started to reverse. My skin looks a lot less dry and even. Haven’t noticed as much fall out of my hair in the shower.

Easy to take, one pill. I take it with lunch. I have not had any side effects. I have not noticed a huge difference, but I am about halfway through the bottle and my hair is not falling out as much as it was. If this continues I will probably keep purchasing this supplement. Slow and steady.
