And I love that this bottle comes almost 100% full!
And that if used as directed this bottle will last 100 days… So far, more supplement companies need to pay attention to Carlyle.
The expiration date on this bottle is Jan 2027, so a little more than 2.5 years from now.
There is almost no scent or taste to the capsules and they are easy to swallow with water.
I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This says non-GMO, packaged and lab tested in the USA (but doesn’t specify if by 3rd party), and has the GMP stamp. The website says Made in the USA and that their facilities are audited by 3rd-party entities. It also says their facilities are certified organic.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many shady ones lately. The product page says the family business, in the third generation now, has been going over 40 years. The carlylenutritionals site is both functional and informative and has a working phone number on it.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I have used a number of their other supplements with good results, I like the ingredients (other than the fillers… many companies say the fillers are necessary, but some of the best companies I know don’t use them), and like getting it for a good price from a verified, established manufacturer.

I like Green Tea extract and have taken it on and off for years, and finding a more refined product like this one, started me back on it for a bottle.
I want extra anti-oxidants for my health benefit because I spent years using tobacco products. I always find quality with Carlyle products and this product does just that.
I get an energy boost after taking it and that helps keep me busy, and keeping busy is my way of not stopping and munching.
Quality, easy to swallow, and it recommends two per dose and sometimes, I just need one. Great product.

Green tea is associated with many health benefits, and it’s great for people who enjoy drinking it. Personally, drinking green tea is not very enjoyable for me, and every time I tried to get into a routine of making a cup or two a day, it didn’t last very long.
EGCG should be the main compound associated with all the benefits, and I like that this supplement focuses on that. There are 200 capsules in the bottle, each containing about 600mg of green tea extract, though EGCG is only 45% of that.
The supplement arrived well-sealed, and the capsules are of standard size and easy to swallow. It’s also very significant that this supplement is manufactured in the USA in a GMP-certified facility.

I haven’t taken Green Tea supplements in a couple of years, but decided to give this Carlyle brand a try. What sold me is that the formulation is standardized to contain 95% Polyphenols, 75% Catechins, and 45% EGCG. If you haven’t heard of EGCG, it is a powerful catechin, predominantly found in Green Tea, and it proven to be an great antioxidant and anti-inflammation compound. There are some studies that suggest it helps reduce LDL cholesterol and lowers blood pressure.
I like that this Carlyle brand is made and lab tested in the US, and has no GMO or other additives. The GMP certification gives me a little added confidence. I don’t know this company, so I visited their website and looked around at this and other products, they seem to be very professional, well organized and well managed. For the quality it seems to be a fair value.

I would suggest that folks with liver issues tread carefully mainly due to the high dosage. My review isn’t a reflection on the product per se, but more of a caution that if you have non-alcoholic fatty liver for example there’s a chance your liver ALT and AST values will shoot up as they did for me, surprisingly high actually after only 2 weeks. Check with your doctor first is basically my advice.

I want the effects of green tea and all that it can do for you but I cannot stand the taste of green tea. Here is where the capsules come in. I like that I can easily swallow the capsules without the taste. With 200 capsules, they will last me a long time. There are no negatives. I will continue to get this brand once I finish the last one.

I wanted an easy way to add some of the benefits of green tea antioxidants to my diet, and I trust Carlyle as a brand as I’ve used their tart cherry extract before. I normally take most supplements at night; I realized a few days after taking these that they do actually contain some caffeine, just like tea does. So I suppose that speaks well to their validity; a lesser company could’ve claimed to have green tea antioxidants without any of the accompanying caffeine and I probably wouldn’t have batted an eye.
