    I wish I had my question answered before I bought this product. Everything sourced from China is contaminated. The last time I had a glutamine product sourced from China I almost wound up in the hospital. The company will say that it meets their high standards. Being in the lab business, I know exactly what those standard are and they are BS. If it comes from China, then it belongs in the garbage. This is NOT a quality product.

    I’ve used Carlson products for many years so recently, when my sister asked to send her some supplements as her son was visiting from overseas, I had no other brand in mind but Carlson.

    With a history of diverticulitis, I get nervous when I start feeling discomfort in the left lower quadrant of my abdomen. This helps calm that discomfort down every time.

    This stuff is supposed to give me increased energy. I am not entirely positive that is what it does. I may feel a slight increase in energy when I take it, but a significant increase or boost of energy, like you can get from coffee or ginseng, I do not feel. This is more subtle and slower to work. I thought since this was a powder that it would absorb into the body and work more quickly, but I cannot say I have felt any effect really. If there has been one it’s been subtle.

    If you have Crohn’s, colitis or IBS, this works. Carlson is tops in quality.

    I used this for my dog on chemo. The chemo negatively affects the stomach and appetite. By advice of an oncologist, I fed him this once a day and I found that his appetite was wonderful to the end. He didn’t seem to get nauseous either.
