It took me 40 years, but I finally am free of chapped, dry lips. Chicago winters have always left my lips cracked and flaky. Last year I somehow happened upon Caranel and I will never use anything else! Applying it every night before bed has kept my lips hydrated and soft. I have been buying this lip mask for over a year & I love it! its creamy, smells like strawberries, it does moisturize my lips just as well as a big name brand we all know of. I have dry lips at times due to where I live and the medications I take daily. I have used the name brand & this lip mask; they are equally the best! This is almost half the price and is in fact a dupe.

Someone online said that this mask is a dupe for the Laneige one but I actually prefer this one. You get much more product for the price, there’s no sticky residue after a few hours, and my lips feel fully hydrated even when the mask wears off. I like to apply it at night or when I know I won’t be eating/drinking for 2-3 hours.

I’m pleasantly surprised at the results I’ve seen after three nights of use. I gave it 4 stars because the scent is little strong for my personal sense of smell, but probably won’t bother others. A very little goes a long way though, I learned that the hard way the 1st night when I used too much. Each photo was taken after waking up, lighting should’ve been better on a couple of them so I’m sorry, but you can even see the progress of my pimple so you know the photos are genuine lol. It took me days of reading descriptions of various brands & reviews, I’m honestly very happy with this purchase & believe you will be too.
I will note though that my lips discoloration is still present, but it’s obvious that it is improving and that’s good enough for me.

This is my second time purchasing this product, my lips are always smooth and soft when using this. When I ran out for a week my lips were back to cracked and dry (I live in Alberta Canada). What I love about this product too is that it stays on for a long long time, like an hour after you apply it you will still feel it on your lips, unlike other lip chaps you always have to reapply. I use this all day long as a lip balm and overnight as well. For the price it’s a great product that I will happily purchase and marginally cheaper than laneige. If you live in Canada or a dry cold climate, you will love this!

i am such a snob about my lip products, and this has become my most reached for! it goes on really smooth and leaves a really nice sheen that looks like lip gloss. i apply it every night and wake up with my lips feeling healthy and moisturized.
after almost 9 months of using it nightly and sometimes during the day, i’m finally almost at the end of my huge container (which i bought after trying the smaller versions and finishing all of those). i’m about to hit reorder, but i had to write this review first.
my only note is that i wish there was a place on the container to store the spatula that comes with it so it doesn’t get gross in or outside of the container. i lost mine eventually.
if you need a holy grail lip product, especially for before bed, look no further! this is the one!
