I got this hoping it’ll get rid of some acne I had on my forehead, and to be fair the acne did go away eventually. However, I don’t believe these patches helped. Firstly, it hurts like a b when you put them on, like little needles stabbing you, and the same goes for when you take it on, you know it’s there because of the sensory stimulation when the patch is on (either overnight or for the next few hours).
After I took it off the pimple was still there and there didn’t seem to be any improvement. In the flip side the area that the patch was on and surrounding was really red.
I think for the expensive price of these patches as well as the little quantity, it wasn’t worth the purchase.

As someone who has been using hydrocolloid acne patches for over a decade, back when they were only available in certain Asian countries, these prickly ones with the mini spikes are more of a recent “invention”. That is also why these are still a bit pricier than the other type of hydrocolloid acne patches without the spikes. These are slightly different from “normal” acne patches in that the little spikes have ingredients to help deflate and heal breakouts, and when you apply one on your skin the spikes penetrate your skin to deliver the stuff. The mini spikes sound scary but it really isn’t. You will feel a slight prick on your skin when you apply this on your skin but that’s all. It will start dissolving but it isn’t really something you’ll be able to see. There should not be any stinging sensation or any pain. Aside from releasing some ingredients to help your breakouts, you are also covering the area to prevent it from getting further infected from dust and debris in the air or dirty fingers. Whether or not we realize it, we all have the tendency to touch our face or the breakout areas, so this will help protect it from any additional germs. I usually put this on before bed and let it work its magic overnight.
These are actually quite sticky, probably one of the stickier acne patches I’ve used. I actually had a hard time peeling it off from the backing and felt like I was ruining the patch and destroying the spikes. Don’t tug on the patches too hard otherwise it will get stretched out of shape, which is what happened to one or two of the dots as I was trying my best to peel it from the backing sheet. When you are peeling these try not to touch the middle part where the spikes are and handle with care from the corners. These stuck on my face throughout the night (I toss and turn a lot) and all the patches were accounted for in the morning. Each pack has 9 pieces and like I said, since these are sort of a newer “invention”, they are still pricey.
Although I like that these deliver ingredients to help minimize the breakouts, I prefer the flat hydrocolloid acne patches because those will suck out the gunk. These patches don’t really do that for me. I find that my breakouts heal the fastest when the gunk gets cleared out over applying any medication. However, I do also have to say that I noticed my breakout was slightly smaller the next day after using this, so these did work for my skin. These spiked ones might work better for deep and stubborn breakouts but if you just have smaller, surface ones I would recommend using the other type of acne patches. Everyone’s skin works and reacts differently to things so I would still give this a try, it could end up working better for you.
Although this is targeted for men anyone of any gender can use this – it is not gender specific nor is it masculine scented or anything like that. Just like the stock photos, you will get one zip lock packet with 9 spiked dots. These are made in Korea.

Have long been battling acne problems until I found Cardon’s pimple patches. I have previously tried many methods: popping the zits, BHA, my girlfriend even tried putting make up on my red and bulging pimples sometimes. But none worked.
Until I started using these patches. they literally make the pimple shrink overnight!!!!! And I sometimes wear them during the day and they will make the zits invisible. I am now a subscriber to the product and regret not having used them before!

Worked well. Easy to apply, sticks well and blends into face to be nearly invisible.

A friend of mine recommended these to me after I told her about pimples I get from time to time.
So I order these on Amazon, and when I opened the package, I didn’t really know what to expect. The package was nice but the pimple patches seemed pretty standard. So a couple days go by, and a pimple shows up – time to give these a shot.
When I opened the package again and took a closer look before applying one of the patches, I noticed the small abrasive side (or the prickles). I applied the patch, pressed the patch in (in accordance with the directions on the back of the package), and the next day, the problem area noticeably improved. Haven’t really seen a pimple heal that fast before — it’s like someone sent a mafia guy to the pimple’s house and the pimple got the message to leave.
Anyways, I’m convinced I have to order a couple packs of these from now on. I read that these are from Korea. Makes sense. Korean skincare is really on another level.
