I have no doubt this is a very rich healing body butter, but it is greasy, as these types of butters tend to be, so you have to be careful when you use it. Bedtime is best.

I think I’ve probably bought and tried 7 or 8 different hand creams this past year. Due to a health issue and new meds, my hands have been so dry sometimes they will crack at the knuckles. This cream is by far the best I’ve tried. It’s not greasy, absorbs almost immediately but without leaving that “sticky” feeling that some creams do. And you don’t need a lot to get the job done. This is now my hand cream of choice. No more shopping around for specialty ones.

So far so good. My husband was using Cetephil with shea butter but they changed the formulation. I meant to buy the Carapex with shea butter but received this one. I ordered wrong. Anyway, my husband loves it. He hates scents of any kind. I bought Burt’s 🐝 🐝 which really smelled bad. Trader Joe’s smelled a little better but he wouldn’t use it. This has a mild nutty smell that doesn’t bother him at all. I will add to this review if his fingers start splitting. I bought it on Subscribe and Save to have delivered all winter with a 15% discount.

I bought this to use as a hand cream. It is non-greasy but very moisturizing and made from non-toxic ingredients.

I bought this for my husband who always experiences dry and cracked hands in the fall/winter months. It was hard to find something he could use that did not cause more irritation to his hands and something to finally heal them. He uses it at night since there is a little greasy feel to it but most of that soaks in. He wanted me to buy another one because I sent his with our son to college since he has similar problems. Definitely would recommend this for those sensitive to fragrances and need a remedy to very dry hands. There is no smell and has the right combination of ingredients where it actually works on extremely dry and cracked hands. I have used it on the heels of my feet and have good results.

This is it, guys. This is the holy grail of hand creams. What it is- has no smell, extremely moisturizing – if you put it on your face, you will break out ! But my hands literally just drank it up. I have been working on my house – breaking things, putting up brick, and a lot of other typically hard to the hands work, and sometimes without gloves (!!) – I have tried Burt bees, eos, Nivea, Vaseline, archipelago botanicals, pure liquid Shea butter – and at least a million others for super dry skin that seems to have acquired the texture of fine sandpaper. All the products I tried – they were good for sort of dry hands, not for sandpaper hands! This stuff is pure magic. No this is not a paid review. I was just at the end of my tether searching for really really hard working hand creams and this one finally does what I need it to do. If you have extremely dry and chapped hands – go for it. You won’t regret it.

I gave this two stars because it has a nice texture and natural ingredients. However, it is NOT A BUTTER. The main ingredients in a butter, by definition, should be oils that are solid at room temperature (hence the reason why we call them “butters”). Think cocoa BUTTER, shea BUTTER, mango BUTTER, etc. THERE IS NO WATER IN A BODY BUTTER. This one is all liquid oils thickened with beeswax and sodium borate. The first two oils are cheap filler oils (Sunflower seed oil and Soybean oil- CHEAP!), followed by water (again, not present in a true “butter”) but I thought I’d give it a try because I have a chapped spot on one finger that won’t heal and very sensitive skin so can’t use anything with fragrance, mineral oil or even some preservatives. I gave this a good try, putting it on a few times per day and after washing my hands, showering, etc. for over a week. NO CHANGE. It absorbs well and, had I gotten it in a big tub for a quarter of the price, to use as a general, all-over cream, I probably would’ve given it a good review. But for $15 for a small 4 oz jar (only suitable for using on small areas like hands), it’s a massive disappointment. Wish I could return it….
