I ordered this product on a Thursday and it arrived the following Monday. The product is as described. Currently, I am taking Vitalzym in capsule form (the one with the blue label) for an ovarian cyst and my boyfriend is taking it for a diabetic foot ulcer. I have read that Vitalzym changed their formula, and apparently Exclzyme is the same formula as the original Vitalzym. I am not sure if the Vitalzym I have is the original or not, so I decided to switch to this just in case. I will update once I give this product a chance.
***Update 3/26/2013: I wanted to update that my boyfriend’s toe infection did clear up rapidly, and he did not have to have the toe amputated as expected. He was hospitalized for this infection, and it honestly was a miracle he did not have to have surgery. I actually learned of proteolytic enzymes when I researching natural remedies for diabetes. Research Dr. Wong for more information. His toe wound has closed up completely, and now the podiatrist is just concerned with the scar callousing. He stopped taking the enzymes once it healed, but I have put him back on them to help the scar soften up. The jury is still out on my ovarian cyst, but I do have less pain. As a side note, my stretch marks have improved greatly. They are still visible but much less and they are also softer and not as deep. For this reason alone, I will keep taking them!

I am a long time customer. There are many brands of systemic enzymes, but this is the only one I trust. The reason I only trust this brand is that it is crucial that the enzymes have an enteric coating to protect them from premature digestion by the gastric juices in the stomach. I am very happy and could right on and on about the benefits of this product. Lets just it works so well everyone freaks out when they find out I’m in my mid-30s. In the face I still look the exact same as I did as a junior in high school. However, the reason I use these enzymes is that I work out extremely hard and have lots of inflammation. These enzymes are a million times better for you than ibuprofen, because they don’t hurt the stomach. I would encourage you to really study the science behind this product. It is much more concentrated than Wobenzym Plus (mainstream in Germany).

This used to be a great product…THEN, the maltodextrin came.
So much maltodextrin that a dozen clients reported stomach pain, gas, indigestion and constipation.
The company says it’s “just a small amount”.
This product doesn’t work for inflammation if it causes it.

Always find proteolytic enzymes helpful- I have an autoimmune disease and it helps me to manage my health. Excellacor is great quality and agrees with me. Helps to reduce inflammation and improves digestive health.

I took this product along with Myomin to treat capsular contracture after a breast implant surgery. I took it for 3 months, and cured my capsular contracture. My surgeon said this was rare, if not unheard of. I also have arthritis, and I have had stomach issues for years. I take meloxicam and omeprezole for indigestion and a hiatal hernia. I also was often constipated and had candida issues. When I started taking this product my arhtritis diminished and I have never felt better. My stomach issues all but went away and I became regular for the first time in my life. I also had no candida issues. I would also get really bad leg cramps and since taking this product, they had gone away. I quit using this about two weeks ago, and am now realizing in the past week my stomach issues are back and constipation is back. My leg cramps are back, my arthritis is worse than ever. I can now tell that this drug was really helping me in so many ways. I have become a lifetime believer and just ordered a new bottle. I will probably take this the rest of my life!

Now that I can no longer get Bioannue, which was my go to enzyme product, I have been taking this supplement and it seems to work. I had an acoustic trauma due to an accident in my recording studio and was in a lot of pain. usually it takes weeks to heal from such a trauma. Instead of taking ibuprofen, I took this product and the pain went away within a week or so. I believe i minimized the long term damage to my hearing by bringing down the inflammation.
I also recent;y sustained a knee injury and was able to reduce recovery time from the usual 6 months to a mere 7 weeks. This stuff really works and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from acute inflammation due to injury.
Lastly, remember to take this product on an empty stomach. Also, I have heard that serapeptase can thin the blood so if your’re already taking blood thinners, you should speak to your doctor before taking this product.
