I used this to disguise a very unpalatable medicine (pergolide) for my horse in his feed. Comes apart easily for filling, holds together well, and stays durable enough till eaten. The capsule is plenty large enough, and I might try a smaller size.
Had to instruct others to NOT touch pill while putting it in the capsule or it defeats the purpose and gets the smell of the meds on the vegan capsule. Recommended by my vet. Works when done carefully!

I have a medication that begins to dissolve the moment it is placed in your mouth. The problem: if I couldn’t swallow it fast enough, it BURNED! I wasn’t sure what to do because the last time it happened, the burning feeling was intense and it lasted for two hours in my throat. I was literally in tears.
I went to a forum and happened to see that this was an issue for others who took this anti-arrythmia drug. It was a problem suffered by many! One person suggested getting these empty capsules as a way to solve this problem. I figured the size I needed to fit my pill and IT WAS PERFECT! Each month (I set my pills up a month at a time), I load each pill into its own little empty capsule. I’ve had no issues since. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now. I should have written this review before.

Update: I went ahead and counted them and theres 493 in the bag. So it seems only a few fell out. I gave 5 stars because the capsules are good and dont feel the torn bag is the fault of the manufacturer in this case.
I bought these because it seemed like a good price for the vegetable capsules.
When I received the order it came in just a plastic Amazon bag, no box. I thought that was odd since the caps are easily crushed. To my surprise the capsules appeared fine and not damaged from shipping. But then I noticed loose capsules falling out of the shipping bag. Looking at the capsule packaging the top left corner appears torn and opened. It doesn’t look sliced like with a knife or scissors, more like someone used there finger to poke into it. I’m scratching my head. This doesn’t make any sense, I would think the person packaging the order would have noticed this.
I’m holding up the bag trying to see if any or how many capsules may be missing but I have no idea what 500 capsules looks like. On the bag the label says packaged by weight but doesn’t list a weight. I weighted the bag on my small kitchen scale and it says 66 grams. Is that the correct weight, I don’t know.
Can’t really blame the manufacturer/seller.
I went to start a return but it says the item is non-returnable. I’m not sure I’m comfortable using these, plus I don’t know if any are missing. They could be all there, or 100 could be missing. I’m not about to start counting them out.
The capsules themselves look fine, all put together, separate easily. I would buy these again if there wasn’t an issue with the bag being open.

But had a little leakage I use these for a THC tincture in MCT oil and I filled up A bunch of capsules and they worked wonderfully now they were a few that didn’t quite“ snap shut As well as the others and I should’ve left them aside because I had basically a few of them leak out and I think it was from the ones that didn’t feel right when I shut them so I believe that is more my fault than the manufactures but in general if you’re careful and make sure they snap completely shut and don’t use ones that don’t. I’m sure you’ll be fine and PS I hate smoking so this is a wonderful delivery system

Love these capsules. I’ve used many different kinds, but these ones are my favorite. Easy to take apart, and easy to put together if you end up having to do it by hand. Great price as well.
