These are so fabulous for those of us with low blood pressure or POTS. I’ve started feeling a lot better since I’ve started taking 2-6 capsules every morning (depending on how bad I feel). I can now exercise without getting so dizzy and nauseas. I had tried adding more salt to my food (on my doctor’s instructions) and even taking teaspoons of salt (which always made me choke) so this is wonderful to have salt in an easy to swallow capsule. And I also love that its Himalayan salt so I’m getting the extra micro-minerals from the Himalayas as well.

I have taken S Caps salt pills for years while playing tennis. They recently became unavailable and I searched for a substitute that was just salt, no other added electrolytes. I lucked out and came across these! They work just as well and you get a lot more for your money! I have never experienced stomach upset with these, even taking up to 6 during really hot, long tennis matches. I’ve never experienced cramping as long as I take these, and I definitely can feel a difference once they hit my system! Not like a caffeine jolt, just more of a reset to normal after I’ve sweated a lot. I recommend them to all my tennis friends and I never let myself run out!

I started on the keto program 7 weeks ago and within a week or so was hamstrung with horrible gluteal muscle cramps that nearly incapacitated me. So some times that I had a hard time walking and would awake me at night to hobble to the kitchen to have a double chicken bouillon or an electrolyte drink…or both. Thirty minutes to an hour later the pain would subside.

I follow a ketogenic diet which causes me to deplete sodium. I don’t really like the taste of salt (I have more of a sweet tooth) so I don’t use very much of it on my food, and drinking salty water makes me queasy even if flavored with something like Mio – I don’t like Gatorade, either. These capsules make it easy for me to get the necessary sodium to avoid “keto flu”, my doctor says that’s a minimum of 3000mg per day. Each one of these capsules contains 850mg salt, which contains approximately 340mg of sodium. I take one with each meal and one before I work out, and my food tracking app says I am getting enough sodium between that and the salt in my food. If I eat something with a lot of sodium like a stir-fry with soy sauce, I skip the salt capsule for that meal. My blood pressure has not raised from the additional sodium, although I also take supplemental potassium and magnesium to balance the sodium.

They gave me a bunch of Table Salt Pills and a few Pink Himalayan Pills. I bought some a year ago and had no problems, but after this I will never trust them again.

The large crystal pink salt capsules have been replaced with fine powder. Not sure if it is the same company or a knock off. Looks like cheaper stuff now.

I don’t like drinking salt water. I don’t like the processed sodium chloride, so this is the best and only option I have found. It is also vegan.
