I purchased these wheatgrass capsules originally to take as just part of a general wellness routine. It would probably be more economical to just purchase raw wheatgrass juice powder than these capsules, but I knew I could not handle that, flavor-wise. These capsules are a great solution for those that can’t stand the taste of wheatgrass. They go down easily without having to deal with the unpleasant flavor. I don’t know if I can necessarily say that I noticed a boost in energy, but I did notice one weird and unexpected benefit. Some time ago, I started having sharp stomach pains. It would begin shortly after eating and would last a few hours. The pain was so intense that I would be doubled-over. One day, I took my wheatgrass capsules right after this pain started, and within 10 minutes, the pain was gone. It turns out I had a peptic ulcer. Wheatgrass has high anti-inflammatory properties, and was an absolute godsend for my ulcer. Even my doctor was shocked to hear that it took the pain away completely. I am forever sold on this.
I believe ratings should be based only on the product, so 5-stars for the product, but I do have one non-product related comment. Amazon thinks shipping a glass bottle in a padded envelope with no other packing materials to be sufficient- it isn’t. Please, Amazon, do better. One of my orders arrived with the bottle smashed inside the envelope with capsules and glass just floating around freely. This is not ok. Glass should be packed in a box and should “float” in the middle, with packing materials around the top, bottom, and sides. There should be no movement when shaken and should just generally be packed with the assumption that the package will be handled roughly during shipping. Amazon did make it right when I informed them of the mishap, but it is just a shame that product was wasted because of poor packaging.

If SHTF and I only had Three Suppliments I could take, this would be my first choice! Why, well when you understand just how powerful wheatgrass juice is you know it’s full of potassium, magnesium, and rich in vitamins C and B. Fyi, I have gluten issues and you need not to worry there is no gluten in the wheatgrass, only in the grain of wheat. Bottle says to take 3/day, I usually take 3 in morning and 2 more through the day. My personal benefits have been huge improvements in energy, my gut is finally starting to heal after having inflamed bowel from gluten, I’m losing weight! Yes it’s really happening, I believe my insulin resistance is actually improving and my body is able to start metabolizing better than it has. Listen, I could go on but just buy it and stay on it for at least month to month and half to see real results. Wheatgrass in a capsule?? I was skeptical at first, but after a week of using this product I can firmly attest that these wheat grass juice capsule are AWESOME — a rich dark green with a great fresh smell ! I feel the same vitality lift and sense of wellbeing from these capsules as I do with freshly juiced wheatgrass. And NO MORE MESS!
I love wheatgrass, but I’ve gotten tired of juicing it. And a shot of it is really expensive at the juice bars where I live. Now all I have to do is reach into my kitchen cabinet and pop three small capsules. So much easier.
How can it be the same as a shot of wheatgrass? For one, it’s dehydrated JUICE, not that whole leaf stuff. And it’s dehydrated at low temps so that the enzymes are still fully active. Not sure how Sproutman invented this, but I sure am happy that they did. I trust this company. They’ve been around a long long time.

This is the only wheatgrass supplements I could find made out of dehydrated juice and not whole leaf. The wheatgrass supplements I found in capsule form had prop 65 warnings because of lead contents. This version does not appear to contain leaf and this was the most important reason I chose this version. Great product!

I’ve only been taking these for a few days so can’t really say if they are helping or doing anything for me but if they do – I would buy again as I do not like to take wheatgrass any other way. If they do anything for me – then that would be great as they are very easy and convenient to take.
