This is a great black seed oil supplement. It’s high quality and very potent, standardized to 2% thymoquinone, which is quite strong. While some products claim as high as 3-4%, I trust the quality of this one more, as Amazing Herbs has been producing high quality black seed oil for a long time. Each softgel provides 1000mg of black seed oil (20mg thymoquinone), which aligns with the research I’ve seen on black cumin seed oil. It’s also great that you only need to take one softgel per day.
I take it for digestive, skin, and inflammation support, and have had good results so far.

Update 1/20/25 I assume one of the capsules opened in the bottle which got a little bit of oil on all the supplements. This released a strong scent when I re-opened the bottle and gave an oil taste to the supplements.

This is the only brand of black seed oil I have supplemented with, so I cannot comment how it compares to others. I will say the oregano-type of taste and smell is very strong, both from the capsules while swallowing them… and burping up after! Sorry if that’s tmi, but they really do give a lasting taste.
I took the softgel form of these before and wanted to see if I would like capsules better. I would say the softgels are smaller, so if that is your preference to go with those. The softgels are also dark, whereas these are in a clear capsule (though they are still in a dark bottle packaging.)
These do seem to help with minor aches or inflammation when I take them the night before, like for shoulder pain. I do not take them daily, as I don’t really notice a difference from doing so. I appreciate that this brand cold presses these seeds in the US.

I had ordered the liquid form of this previously and I found the tast so offensive that I couldn’t continue to drink it. These are a much better alternative. Be aware that they do smell and you will have some aftertaste, but it’s nothing compared to chugging it. Lol. I did find it odd that instead of the usual cotton stuffing they used the crumpled up plastic shown in my pictures, that may be something you do not want so keep that in mind if purchasing from this brand.
