I really appreciate this exhaustive blend of herbs contained in this supplement. I made it through the holidays when I usually end up sick taking a similar blend. I thought I’d try another brand this time to see if I experience any different results, better or worse. So far, the capsules go down easy and I’ve experienced no adverse effects.

i especially wanted to try this Sea Moss because of the added Ashwagandha & Ginger.
Sea Moss alone is great, but when you can combine other nutrients is a win win.
I no longer buy over the counter vitamins or supplements, as my Sea Moss gives me everything I need

I’m really pleased with this sea moss and black seed oil supplement. It has a comprehensive formula that includes ingredients I wasn’t previously getting, such as bladderwrack and burdock root. I appreciate the addition of ashwagandha and ginger for stress support and digestion. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven’t experienced any adverse side effects. Recommended if you’re looking for a source of sea moss, black seed oil, or ashwagandha!

I gifted to my son because he travels alot for his business and my daughter-in-law appreciates (and her knowledge as a wellness practitioner and yoga instructor), that with the specific combined ingredients in this, formula it certainly would be beneficial. YUNTINGGO Sea Moss + More is an all in 1 supplement that has 9 ingredients, plus a Multimineral Blend of 7 more ingredients. The serving size is 2 capsules, which are average sized, and easy to take. This supplement was made in China, and was manufactured for Vision LTD in Denver, CO. I didn’t see any GMP or information about where the ingredients were sourced from, hence my rating. This supplement arrived fresh, shrink wrapped, boxed, and safety sealed.

The different numbers of supplements in this is pretty normal overall but what makes it great is that there’s so many different ones so it really adds up to quite a bit. Overall however, i wish it focused more on the 2 main advertised ingredients, the sea moss and black seed oil. I think there should be more of those but it’s still a pretty good supplement overall

I’m actually not familiar with sea moss and have not eaten it previously. It’s also better known as Irish Moss, and grows in tidepools and inlets along the coastlines of Europe, North America, and the British Isles. It’s what’s typically harvested to extract carrageenan. This is the only part that concerns me–carrageenan can be degraded into poligenan, and in that state causes inflammation, which is why I usually avoid foods with carrageenan in them (I didn’t realize this when I requested this).
The package has a large “Made in China” label on it, on the outside of the plastic wrapping (to comply with FDA rules). I didn’t realize that’s where it was made ahead of time either, and often try not to get things I consume from there, as there are more questionable standards there. In the product information, it says it is “organic”, yet there is no reference to that anywhere on the actual product packaging.
However, moving on from the question of WHY you would want to intentionally consume an irish moss extract…
I opened up a capsule and tried tasting it. It actually did taste like ground up seaweed as it’s supposed to be, so I have no doubt it’s mostly some sort of sea plant at least. The flavor was actually quite good, with a fresh, earthy quality. It was manufactured 4 months ago, and they set the expiration date to be 3 years after manufacture (a bit on the long side for supplements–many are 2 years).
I took off a star for the misleading and unsubstantiated “19,445 MG per serving” on the label. That is super misleading. They appear to have taken the extraction ratio of all of the component herbs, and multiplied the factor by the amount of that extract in 2 capsules. Problem with that is that when you make an extraction, you are only getting some portion of the target chemical you are extracting, typically with a solvent like water or alcohol. And of course, there are often many other components of the whole herb that are left behind. I’m not even sure what the specific target chemicals are in sea moss that are being extracted. This is a common practice, alas, but it is disingenuous.
So, if you are looking for irish moss extract that’s mixed with a nice blend of small amounts of other ingredients, and you don’t mind that it’s made in China, I think this is about as good as you’ll find.
