When I had blood work done, I was iron deficient. The practitioner recommended desecrated beef liver. After a little research, I found this brand. Recommended dose is 6 capsules, but I only take 4 because I don’t want to become constipated as high iron supplementation can some times cause. I have had no issues with 4 a day and my iron levels are now where they should be.

I think this product it good quality because you can see that it’s purely beef liver. It also give me better sleep quality. It also gave me more energy because I got more sleep in. It also improved my digestion.

I wish i could leave a review without a rating as its not meant to criticize this product, but rather as a general warning. I started taking it at the full recommended dose and soon noticed greatly increased anxiety, jumpiness, propensity to crying, difficulty sleeping. After a bit of investigating i concluded it was most likely due to copper sensitivy/overload. I tried taking a lower dose or skipping days as i wanted to get vitamin A in a natural form, but to no avail. So i disconued the supplement for an extended period and upped my zinc intake. A week ago I decided to try again taking only 1 capsule per day, to clear my cupboard and not let it go to waste.
In the last 3-4 days my anxiety has gradually returned along with feelings of sensory overload and desperate to get away from my responsibilities (small children in particular). After lying awake for hours, sleepy but extremely jumpy at every sound or movement from my husband or sometimes just my own body waking me back up, i finally made the connection to copper, and this beef liver supplement.
So if you notice anxiety instead of wellbeing when taking this, take it as a sign to get your nutrients elsewhere (chicken liver has far less copper. I’m not sure if this company or others make dessicated chicken liver).

These Beef Liver pills do the job. They will turn stool an odd color which is expected for these Pills but other than this, no side effects or odd taste. I will purchase again.

Since I was a teen, I have had a few vitamin deficiencies. I needed to take iron supplements and was deficient in Vitamin B12. I have always struggled with hormonal acne that seemed to worsen the older I got, I was always fatigued and tired, and my hair started to thin and fall out in chunks. I started taking beef collagen which helped with my acne and skin complexion but didn’t seem to have an effect on my hair loss. I was desperate for SOMETHING to fix my ailments. As I was researching I started to see rave reviews about beef liver. I don’t have the stomach to cook up beef liver (I can barely handle touching raw meat) so seeing beef liver in an easy to ingest capsule seemed more ideal. I’ve been taking it for a month or two and I have seen/felt really great results! My hormonal acne has cleared up (I only get the occasional zit if I don’t wash my face or pillow case), my energy has improved (I used to sleep majority of the day), I have new hair growth and my hair isn’t falling out nearly as much, and even my nails are stronger and not flimsy! Something I was surprised about was that it balanced out my hormones. I track my menstrual cycle and it would come around every 18-20 days or so— I wasn’t aware that wasn’t normal/healthy. After about a month or two of taking the beef liver I finally had a “normal/healthy” period on the 23rd day from my last period (the normal range) and it was even shorter than what I was experiencing before: I went from having an 8 day period to a 6 day period. I take one capsule a day since that’s all my body seems to need. This has also replaced the gross tasting chelated iron I was taking which I am super happy about. I 100% recommend this beef liver!

I have a good stable energy which I was told might be from the b12 in liver Nice and smooth all day clarity and energy ….no stimulation or crash like energy drinks. For context I work in oilfields 12-14 hr shifts and look to have supplements to aid in my long hitches. Also liver is packed with vitamins so I cut back on my multivitamins I feel pretty good with just this ! I am a built male 168 lbs only taking 3 caps daily.

I hear beef liver is a super food. I don’t use these for every day use though. I hide them in meals. Like a chuck roast crock pot meal, bone broth, etc. because I don’t like a gelatin capsule. I haven’t noticed a difference really but I can’t taste it mixed in w liquid so taste and smell is not bad.

ORIGINAL: I started taking two a day in early April 2024 and felt great on these. I even ordered 3 more bottles. Felt great energy. But by early May, I started losing hair at a much higher rate than normal for that time of year. (Most have some seasonal shedding from mid July into late fall.) By early June, my hair started falling-out at a rapid rate. I suspected this product was the cause, but after reading a 1-star review here by Rosa who also lost large amounts of hair, then I was pretty sure this was the cause. I think this product replenishes deficiencies which makes you feel good, but possibly in rare instances, it’s causing a toxicity or deficiency with other nutrients which may cause shedding. Not sure which particular nutrient was the cause. I stopped taking this product in mid July and hair shedding was back to normal in early September, thank God! I probably lost 20% of my hair from the entire scalp- not just the MPB areas. Now it’s November 2024 and my hair’s starting to look thicker again. I’m happy to waste an almost full bottle and two unopened bottles of this product to get my hair back.
