I do eat meat, but try to limit my consumption. To compensate for the protein I may be missing, I like to take beef liver supplements.
Based on similar products I’ve tried, it’s pretty common for beef liver supplements to provide 3000 mg of desiccated beef liver per serving, as this does. An advantage with this product is that it also contains vitamins B6, B9, and B12, which is unusual. I consider that to be a bonus.
As is typical, this is sourced outside the USA, but I like that it’s manufactured in the USA.
Each serving requires 4 capsules, which are a little larger than most, but I don’t find that to be a problem. With 180 capsules in the jar, this will last 45 days, which I consider very good: Recommended.

This beef liver supplement has no unwanted fillers or artificial ingredients. I love that it is from grass-fed cows. Beef liver is the most nutrient dense food and has many health benefits. I didn’t give it a 5 star because it didn’t say where the cows are from. It only says imported (I have another beef liver supplement that states on the bottle where the cows are raised).

This is a 45 day supply if you take the recommended dose each day. I plan on taking 2 a day just because I take so many other supplements. I noticed that in the capsule, the contents are not finely ground. They could definitely get more into one capsule if it was all finely ground and stuffed accordingly. I definitely tasted liver when swallowing these…not the best taste, but better than eating it outright. I’m unsure if these compare to the other high quality supplements, especially because of the way it was in the capsules, but time will tell…. I would have rather they didn’t add any additional vitamins, since I would just like the nutrients from the beef liver only….if those nutrients continued passed the drying and grinding they use.

When you’re consuming organ meats which are filter organs it becomes even MORE important to get organ meats from grass-fed cows that have eaten from organic fields. This means they eat grass not near commercially-sprayed fields. The problem is most of us don’t want to eat liver. Some people love it but I hate to eat liver so that is an efficient way to consume a healthy organ meat without tasting it.

But to say “easy to swallow” when showing a capsule nearly an inch long? They put it next to a penny and it’s taller! And 4 of them for a serving?
Beef liver is a high-density food source. Grass fed and pesticide-free are nice, but made in the USA from globally sourced ingredients gives me pause. Where exactly?
