I knew hypoglycemia was a side effect and I was prepared. I took the two pills with a full meal and had lots of snacks. About an hour or two later I felt dizzy and put myself to bed thinking I was overly exhausted (night shift problems). I woke up on and off all night, I was dry heaving, so dizzy I fell on my way to the bathroom. I thought I was dying. The next day I realized hypotension is another side effect I should have been aware of. I didn’t have enough blood flow to my brain to figure it out at the time. But I was determined. I did 1/2 a capsule for a week (I don’t recommend. It tastes awful) then increased it to one capsule. Even at one capsule, which is half a dose, I thought I was dying. I was so light headed. Despite drinking multiple glasses of water beforehand, my blood pressure dropped again. When I finally felt well enough to find a BP cuff (several hours later) my bp was 85/40. And this was when I was feeling better.
In summary, I was too busy trying not to die to know if it would increase milk supply.

For breastfeeding moms seeking natural support to enhance milk production, Goat’s Rue Capsules are a game-changer. I can’t recommend these capsules enough for their exceptional benefits.
From personal experience, Goat’s Rue has proven to be a powerful ally in boosting milk supply. Its natural properties stimulate mammary tissue, encouraging increased milk production without the need for synthetic additives or hormones.
What sets Goat’s Rue Capsules apart is their convenience and efficacy. With a simple daily dose, I noticed a significant improvement in milk supply within a short period. This not only alleviated any concerns about low milk production but also provided reassurance that I was nourishing my baby adequately.
Moreover, the capsules are easy to swallow and digest, making them ideal for busy moms juggling multiple responsibilities. Knowing that I was ingesting a pure, herbal supplement without any harmful additives gave me peace of mind.
In conclusion, Goat’s Rue Capsules are a must-have for breastfeeding moms looking to naturally boost milk production. Their effectiveness, convenience, and natural formulation make them a standout choice for supporting lactation and ensuring ample nourishment for your little one.

These boosted my milk supply within 24 hours of taking them, but then it gradually tapered off again. I was afraid if I stopped taking them, my milk supply would drop. For reference, I took 2 capsules every night. The price is very good compared to other brands.

Pretty sure it works, but also pretty sure it upsets little ones belly when I take it. From what I hear, Goats Rue is pretty hit or miss. It’s worth a try, but you need to take it for at least a week before you see a difference.

With my first born, maybe a month into breastfeeding, I started using goat’s rue and I think it made a difference. After a very rocky start, with my son in the NICU, first fed with a tube down his throat, then moved to his nose so I could try to breastfeed. It took a week for my milk to come in, so the NICU nurses had to bottle feed my son donated breastmilk. Once we got home, my milk came in and I was able to breastfeed but it was a struggle and I cluster fed a lot to ensure he was getting enough milk. Eventually, it was recommended by my lactation consultant to try goat’s rue. It was exactly what I needed. With that intervention (aside from galactagogues I added to my diet, like oatmeal, nuts, seeds and brewer’s yeast in lactation cookies) I was very successful with breastfeeding for 27 months, but I definitely had a big difference in production between boobs, and that didn’t change. Luckily, my producer made up for my slacker boob.
With baby #2, I started taking goat’s rue about a week before I delivered. I started taking 2 a day around my due date. And there was a big difference. Of course, my body has a memory of things and knows how to produce milk, etc… but this was even better than imagined. My milk came in within 24 hours of delivering, meaning colostrum came in right away and my milk came in 24 hours later. Most people can’t say that. I have small boobs that didn’t grow until my milk came in. I’m not an overproducer. I have mammary glands in my armpits and substantially less mammary glands in my right breast than my left. I’m not your average mom with common issues. I have very uncommon complications. I chose goat’s rue to help build better mammary tissue and I really think it worked. In 2 weeks, my daughter not only gained all the lost weight since birth, but also an extra pound. She went from 7 lb, 12 oz at birth to 7 lb, 2 oz on day 3 to 8 lb, 12oz at 2 weeks, 3 days. The only intervention, aside from adding oatmeal to my diet, was the goat’s rue. That’s it. So I highly recommend this product. I take 2 pills, twice a day, still do at 3 weeks postpartum. I’m very happy with the results.

Used this product to help with breast milk supply. It has helped. No after taste. Easy to swallow. Effective to give me enough increase to not need formula anymore. I was sometimes 3 -4 oz short a day for baby’s needs before this. Strength is good. No side effects.
