In this age of questionable supplements and lack of quality controls I try to do a little research on products that are new to me and my family – especially for any product being ingested. There are so many alphabet soup new companies that are importing products and attaching Made in America and GMP labels onto the bottles, with absolutely no quality control.
I did go to the Staver Health website looking for a Certificate of Analysis or some official indication as to the sourcing of the ingredients for the Digestive Enzyme capsules. Unfortunately there was nothing. Also, I could not find the business registered in the State of Utah, although they do have a mailing address in Salt Lake City.
When I opened the (shrink-wrapped) bottle there was an additional seal under the lid. The capsules inside are white, as expected, and have no foul odor.
Until I can obtain a bit more information about their product I will not be using the product. I’m putting it on a shelf in my kitchen. If I learn more about the Digestive Enzymes I will gladly update the review.

I used it once and felt a difference in digestive support. I loved to see two of my favorite “helpers” on the list of ingredients – Papain and Bromelain – among quite a panel of other beneficial enzymes. Just have to remember to take it about 20 – 30 min. BEFORE the meal, not after, like some others.

a great blend of digestive enzymes. I take it as directed and it provides 60 capsules. The capsules are regular in size and easy to swallow. They work as described and I had no negative side effects. A decent price point for the amount of capsules and quality of ingredients.

When I first saw this I was a bit skeptical. But I took a proton pump inhibitor for stomach issues for a number of years which I later learned the manufacturer recently stated that they should only be used for four weeks. Unfortunately I learned that after having new issues. I can’t eat much without feeling bloated and frequently queasy. I gave these a try not expecting much but to my surprise they really seem to be helping. I’m actually able to eat a little more and don’t have that bloated feeling. I’ve been using them for several days and so far I’m hopeful.
