I’m not great at reviews but I try to leave one for things I think can help everyone, I’ve read all the reviews before I bought this calcium supplement, I realize side effects can be different for everyone, but it helped pain so I decided to get it,so here is my review ,it does taste bad on its own, easy fix ,a bit of hot water to mix it because it won’t mix well in cold water I added lemon and a bit of honey,or an orange, I mix it in my tea or add my vitamin c powder to it,those are ways to fix the taste,I have a bit of arthritis, and after drinking it for a few days all the pains went away,my knees feel so much better ,my side effect is loose bowels ,that does not bother me ,as long as its not constant and it not just once a day like you would normally go.

I thought this would be a great addition to my morning coffee. I currently use a collagen flavorless powder and am wanting to supplement with some calcium magnesium for my degenerating disk situation. Since I’m far more likely to take it as a powder I mixed into my coffee, as I do my collagen every morning, I thought “Wow this stuff will be perfect! It’s an unflavored powder!” Let me tell you how wrong I was. As I prepared my cup of morning Joe, I went through my usual steps. Get coffee brewing, pull down collagen powder and add it to the bit of sugar and hazelnut powder creamer as I do every morning. But this day I was adding in a new powder to the mix! An unflavored calcium magnesium with D3 powder. I added a scoop and then poured my coffee over it, added my half and half and I was ready to start my day. Pretty immediately I noticed some bubbling…..I stirred it while shrugging off my first red flag of the morning. I took my first sip of my morning salvation, only to be VERY unpleasantly surprised by what I could only think at the time, was my half and half had gone sour! The taste was kinda sour and pungent. My eyes widened in surprise and my face grimaced in the unexpected disgust I was tasting. I quickly grab my half and half and do a smell test. Hrmm smells fine. I then turn my attention towards the open container of this powdered calcium magnesium powder. I look over the label and see the “Unflavored” claim and roll my eyes in disbelief. I lick the tip of my finger and delicately tap the top of the powder. I slowly bring the powder dipped finger to my palate and taste. My eyes squeeze shut it sour disgust and I knew immediately what the coffee saboteur was. While I love the idea of an unflavored powdered form of a vitamin, this was a fail. I will be returning, because I will in no way be able to suffer through drinking this in any capacity. I did note on upon reading the back label, it mentioned you could mix with water or juice to “enhance” as they put it, the flavor of the unflavored powder. Unfortunately, after this mishap and the fact that I only drink one cup of coffee and no juice in the morning. Paired with the complete new found distain for the flavor of the “unflavored” powder, I will be returning this product. This is just my experience. I gave three stars because it was packaged well, and the idea is great. But when stating something is “unflavored”, one is led to assume that there isn’t a strong flavor of anything. Like the unflavored collagen powder I use. This was however, not the case in this situation. I hope this review helps someone from making the same unfortunate mistake I did on that dreadful morning.

Turns out you can’t return this item. So I’m out about 25$. This is very disappointing. Please don’t order if you are hoping for anything close to it not having flavor. It is not flavorless!!!

This stuff is great! I have been taking Calm for several years and recently came across CalMag Plus. After trying it for a few weeks I can confidently say that this is better than Calm. It has calcium, magnesium, vitamin C as well as D. I love that it gives extra vitamins including C & D. Calm doesn’t have that. It also takes great.
This combination is perfect for me. I workout several days a week and need my muscles to relax and recover quickly. I take this each day after my exercise and it allows my muscles to relax naturally. When they can relax they can then recover. It also helps me sleep at night without using any artificial sleep aid.
It takes away any stiffness in my joints and just overall provides relaxation. I am really glad that I found this product and intend to continue to use it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great natural stress reliever, muscle relaxer or overall great calcium magnesium supplement.
Oh and a bonus… The company actually cares. They sent a followup email to make sure I received it and gave recipes too. That’s really hard to find. I’m happy to be a customer 🙂

i had something of an intensive workout yesterday, particularly legs. Oh & btw, I’m an old guy (almost 7 decades). I woke at 3am w my thighs screaming in pain (yeah, sever cramping). I made my way to the kitchen, turned on the instant hot water pot, gave it a few seconds before pouring a half cup & adding a teaspoon of this powder. I wanted to get back to sleep -if possible- so after slamming it down and chasing w another half cup of water, i got back to the bedroom. I was prepared for more pain as i bent my knees to get back in bed.. amazingly: there was no pain at all. Totally gone. Even tho i had some dread about laying awake, i was back asleep in a couple of minutes. It seems miraculous wen i think about it now. GOOD STUFF!

My husband and I take this daily and diligently (which is not my style, but it’s that worth it). I have told countless others about it as well. We have seen immediate results and others I have introduced to it have too. It is well absorbed magnesium by all! If you want to sleep better (I used to wake up and not be able to fall back asleep), have easier and more regular bowel movements and improve your mood, take this! I sought it out because there are very few options that aren’t horse pills or filled with artificial flavors. I keep purchasing because it works. The vitamins C and D3 are perks.
Pour a small amount of boiling water on the powder to activate it, mix until clear, add a bit of cold water, then drink. The taste is mild if you drink immediately (the longer it sits the more bitter the taste).
The company also sent us a Christmas gift complete with hand written thank you card (pictured). Very sweet. This prompted me to finally rave about this stuff on Amazon, instead of just to my friends. Thank you and well played Whole Family Naturals! Don’t stop making this good stuff.
