    The product is old and has a smell to it. Gelato cream made by Cake. Product is very loose for a cleanser. Second time I have tried this product. Sent the first one back. Second one was the same.

    Wouldn’t recommend. Smells weird. Weird thick texture that doesn’t dissolve well. Love Cake Beauty but unfortunately this didn’t work for me.

    For a product labeled cake I expected this to smell delicious. It does not. It is disgusting!! And it feels like Vaseline. So, thick I couldn’t hardly get it out of the package that came unsealed. Save your money and skip this product. Yuck 🤢

    Not going to lie – it took me a while to get used to the feeling of this cleansing balm. I was used to harsher products that stripped my skin of all oil and moisture, so getting used to a pampering, hydrating, lush balm was weird. But. It. WORKS. My skin is clean and best of all stays clean (no overproduction of oil to make up for skin-stripping chemicals). I don’t have to tone after, and my skin is much more receptive to my moisturizing serums. My pores, surprisingly, look way smaller, and my skin is plumper and healthy-looking.

    Item arrived very welled package. Bottle looked really old like it has been roaming around someone’s trunk. When i opened the bottle it smelled “SO” bad I had to throw it in the trash. I just wanted it out of my house…

    I love this brand and all of their products. However, this particular product smells gawd awful. Like unbearable. I want my money back

    Product dosent feel like a wash or like it cleans or “cleanses” in any way. It feels like I’m smearing soft wax all over my face and when I try to wash it off there is a waxy film all over my face. My face feels gross and dirty after using this product not clean or refreshed at all. I love other products by this brand but this is not one of them.

    This product is very hard to squeeze out and smells pretty weirdly. It does leave your face feeling moisturized though.

    It was sealed and the consistency was fine. It wasn’t thick like others have reported. It did however smell like an old box of crayons. I use numerous Cake products and this is the first that I will not purchase again.

    It was so hard to squeeze out of the tube that it ruptured a hole at the top and hit my face when I was trying to squeeze it onto my palm. It didn’t cleanse well either. I should have known considering it has kaolin clay. Who puts kaolin clay in a cleanser? Lol.
