I love this lotion – it truly does moisturize longer than others, but does not have a greasy feel. The one thing I’ve consistently noticed is that this larger pump bottle doesn’t smell as good as the smaller squeeze tube type bottles Burt’s Bees Body Lotion, Cocoa And Cupuacu Butters, 6-Ounce (Pack of 2) and once this larger pump bottle is down to the last inch to an inch and a half it won’t pump out anymore.
Smell: I love the cocoa smell. However, it seems “faded” (for lack of a better word…) in this bottle. I can barely smell it till the bottle is close to 1/2 way empty, then the smell seems to increase. Since you are lucky to get about 25-30% of the last half of the bottle, this is a real bummer. With the smaller 6 oz tubes/bottle, the smell is consistent and it is easy to squeeze out the last drops of lotion (same way as you’d do with toothpaste tubes/bottles.)
Cost: I’ve bought this larger bottle 3-4x now, because it is much cheaper at $9 for 12 oz pump bottle vs. $16 for two of the 6 oz bottles. The first time I thought perhaps the 12 oz pump bottle of lotion was old, maybe just sitting around a long time, and so lost it’s scent. However, the subsequent bottles have all been exactly the same. Mysteriously, the lotion in the 6 oz bottles have never had this problem. So, while more expensive, I’m having to go with the 2 pack of 6 oz bottles instead.
If you like this lotion, or want to try it out, absolutely go with the 6 oz bottles instead.

I accidentally discovered this lotion when I bought a tube of what I thought was the Milk and Honey variety at Target. At first I was annoyed, but this lotion moisturizes so much better with less filmy residue than Milk and Honey. And the scent is amazing!
Other reviews had me skeptical of purchasing this lotion through Amazon–saying the scent was chemical-y, etc–but I took the chance as the price is unbeatable…and it’s absolutely perfect! Exactly what I’d get at Target or Walmart but far cheaper.

This is hands down the only body moisturizer that does what it claims and keeps the skin moisturized for 24 hours. Also, it comes in scented and unscented types, tube or pump varieties, and the price is certainly competetive. However, what I want to comment on is the stellar vendor. I ordered 2 pump bottles, and one arrived malfunctioning. I intended both as stocking stuffers, but gave up hope that I could replace or reorder the broken one in time. But, when I notified the vendor mine was broken, I was offered a replacement no questions asked, and even better, no return necessary. Furthermore, the replacment arrived 1-2 days after notificatikn AND during Christmas week!!!, in time to be given as a present. I could not be more impressed with the quality nor especially with the service.

BB’s body lotion came right on time. I have sensitive dry skin. This lotion has a very faint but nice smell. It is creamy and soothing when applied. It goes on like a cream and is very absorbent. My skin stays moist and soft all day without reapplying. I love it and will purchase again.

I love this lotion. It’s a little greasier than the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion but it keeps my skin moisturized longer. I have really dry skin, which causes it to get itchy, so I would regularly apply lotion at night after my shower before bed. With the Aveeno lotion, I had to reapply at least one more time during the day but with this Burt’s Bees product, I am good for 24 hours. My husband prefers the Aveeno lotion because it rubs in faster and dries faster, but for me I wanted a product that was not too heavy or thick, felt moisturizing and lasted all day and this seems to do the trick. It smells like cocoa butter, which is fine with me. It’s not overpowering at all. I only wish the bottle were a little bigger, this is part of my Subscribe and Save and I had to move my subscription up to every two months since that’s how long it lasts me.
