To begin I have had sleep issues the last few years due to working nights, and trying to switch back to a day schedule on my off days. I have taken a lot of melatonin to the point it seemed like it was no longer having an effect. I spent about a year not taking it to try and get back to the point it would actually help me without resorting to stronger sleeping aids. Previously I had been taking 5 and 10mg pills, which were a bit of an overkill, so these 1mg ones looked like the perfect dose to get back into using it to sleep. I have started taking one of these about 2 hours before bed on my days off an usually they give me just enough of a nudge to fall asleep easier then not using them.
I also got a 5mg bottle to use on the nights I need something a little bit stronger, but luckily that hasn’t been too often since I have started my new routine.
I definitely recommend these since they lower dose they provide makes it harder for your body to develop and immunity like I did when taking too much of the 5 and 10mg melatonin pills.
I also like how how there is a years worth supply included, and with the way I have been using them, I should get about 2 years out of the bottle, so its definitely an excellent value.

Not all melatonin is created equal!
While I do wish that these were more than 1mg (I’ve honestly never seen 1mg in stores, usually I see them start at 3mg or 5mg), thereby decreasing the amount of capsules one must take each evening, I can also appreciate the other side of that coin- the ability to choose dosage by the single milligram. So finding the right amount can be undertaken with plenty of fine tuning.
I do have to say though, I’m quite impressed with these capsules. They are only 1mg per capsule but from what I’ve seen, just in my own experience, they appear to be significantly more effective than other melatonin capsules and tablets I’ve taken in the past. As always, we can only ever speculate as to a supplement’s efficacy, but based on my experience with this brand, I’m really happy with these capsules and I feel that the quality of the melatonin in the capsules I received is top notch. I’m able to take fewer milligrams of melatonin than I normally would because of how I’m experiencing it.
Overall, I’m just SUPER happy with it!

This supplement is just straight melatonin. I like that each soft gel is 1 mg, so you can take as many or as few as you need. Some supplements have 10 mg of melatonin and that is way too much for me. I was taking two of these soft gels before bed, but I would wake up about 4:00 AM and couldn’t go back to sleep. So, I started taking three.
