This is not was a flavorless aloe Vera powder. It’s extremely bitter and un-edible. I have tried mixing it, by itself and trying to just quickly chug it but it tastes horrible!
Don’t buy this if you plan to drink it. Love all the other bulk supplement items I’ve bought but this was a huge disappointment. Wil have to throw out. Bought it for the health benefits but can’t drink it and makes me want to throw up. Buyer beware and be careful if you are thinking about buying this to drink.

I’ve used the whole Aloe Vera plant for my skin, hair and elevated sugar for some years now. Little did I know that Aloe was available in powder form. I’ve ordered powders from Bulksupplements in the past and am very pleased with the potency of their product, so I ordered the Aloe Vera powder. The powder is snow white (to my surprise), very fine and dissolves in water with ease. I use about 1/4 t in 1/4 of water to make my skin serum which goes on smooth and penetrates into my skin fast……without that grainy residue. I will buy again and would recommend to family and friends.

I don’t know for sure what color aloe Vera powder should be, but it arrived in sealed zip packet. The powder is dark brown and fine crystals were easy to dissolve. I used it by mixing powder with water to sooth my sun burn neck. It was more effective than chemical laces aloe Vera gel I purchased from local store.

Aloe vera has many benefits. It is necessary to mix it with something to take orally. The taste will be prohibitive to many people. I do like not having to ingest binders and fillers when possible.

This is the second time bulk supplements has changed their supplier, and the product gets worse every time. This time its browner and even more bitter. I don’t mind gulping down something that doesn’t taste great, but this I cannot do. It literally tastes like an ashtray. I have to return it. My search is on for a new aloe vera extract.

It’s fine white powder and mixes well. I add it to yogurt and cereal and the aloe-specific flavor is usually masked. If I add too much to a bland mix, I can definitely taste it. (Tastes a bit like tap water..)
I also use it to make soaps mixed with clay or mud. It is supposed to make more moisturizing soap bars.
