I have edema in my legs and feet. I use this to make tea. It has a neutral taste, but I add lemon for a kick. Started with 1 cup 2x a day. Now I make 2 tall glasses of iced tea, drink it through the day. Yes, I’m drinking more water, but I saw the difference in a week. Less swelling and pitting has gone away. 30 days sober. This stuff has helped me DETOX my kidneys in 7-10 days. Orange urine to light yellow. Water alone wasn’t doing it. Buy a small pack and see if it works for you. Great value. The quality of the product is suggested by the small recommended amount for daily use. The smell and taste has not been harsh or bitter. The product has not changed the flavor of my smoothies, water or yogurt.

I am so happy that I discovered this product! I came across it while looking for natural diuretics, so I decided to give it a try. I have peripheral edema, and my prescription diuretic doesn’t always do the job completely. I mixed about 1/3 tsp. in a 4 oz. cup of warm water. I didn’t notice much difference in my swelling the first few days, so I increased it to 1/2 tsp., twice a day and saw a major change.
As to the taste, this tastes a lot like black tea, only very strong and a little more bitter. It doesn’t taste bad at all, IMO. I add about a half a packet of artificial sweetener or honey to it. You do need to put it in warm water, though, otherwise it doesn’t dissolve well. I imagine that if you mixed it with your favorite flavored hot tea, you might not be able to taste it much at all.
I also have an autoimmune disease, so I’m looking forward to the benefits that dandelion root extract provides for that, as well. I will definitely keep this supplement stocked!

I’ve been taking about half a teaspoon morning and evening for a couple of days now. I can’t tell whether it’s helping with water retention, but it’s definitely having a mild laxative effect (which is a plus for me). The powder dissolves easily in warm water and makes a nice sort of instant tea. I don’t find it to be bitter, although its woody taste may be unpleasant for some. All the studies I’ve read about dandelion were using extract, and the price on this really can’t be beat. I expect I will continue taking this for a long, long time. If I notice an effect on water retention with continued use or any other additional benefits, I will update my review.

Make a cold tea with it, it taste like typical iced tea. I make tea from the leaves and I ad the root powder to the tea, drink it with ice and I add lemon. Great flavor, let’s see if it works as intended

I actually purchased this item to use as a natural diuretic for my dog who has congestive heart failure. Our holistic vet suggested dandelion root for a natural option over lasix in these early stages. I searched high and low for a good product that was all natural. I was leery at first buying a product from the company because it wasn’t marketed toward animals. After further research I found the supplements marketed for pets are priced much higher just because of that marketing technique. I use this product 2x a day with my dog and have noticed an increase in fluid output and reduction in his belly size where fluid is retained. I am very pleased with this purchase and will continue to purchase from this company! The product is all natural with no added fillers!

I’m using this as a tea. No need to steep, just dissolve a rounded teaspoonful in a mug of hot water. Then I add stevia and honey. Nice earthy taste, a somewhat suitable coffee substitute.

I bought this brand after 2 bags of a competitive brand. The difference is substantial. This finer ground product is Great in my coffee. Adding a 1/4-1/2 tsp blends perfectly with NO GRIT when nearing the bottom of my cup! Damn, I might have to make another one!😀
