What a great product! I thought I came upon THE Superfood when I was introduced to Cacao Nibs; the Pure Blueberry Extract powder is also way up there. Who doesn’t love blueberries? Who doesn’t want to be energized and functioning at optimum efficiency? I researched some of the benefits of blueberries. Just a few: blueberries have eye health benefits,anti-cancer benefits, blood sugar, cognitive and cardiovascular benefits, as well as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. I’m not sure what ‘phytonutrients’ are, but there are over 15 of those. I have a half teaspoon of this wonderful product twice a day. Absolutely no side effects, and interestingly, since using this blueberry extract powder, I’m feeling unusually more alert and strong. Try it! You will like it!

It’s been my mindset for some time now, that good health is typically not a matter of one product or practice, i.e., the optimum health ‘silver bullet,’ there are indeed some Super Foods. I purchased this because I love blueberries (taste and health benefits), but wanted it around during times of the year they are not available or do not look good.
I tried it alone in ice water (1 tsp in 19 ounces), and it has a mild but good blueberry flavor. Adding another teaspoon enhanced it further. Tastes good with or without added sweeteners, and would do great in a smoothie with other fruit.
While this is listed as an “extract” details are not provided. I imagine that it is dried and powdered whole berries, but I do not know for sure. If this is what they are, the 250 gms of this powder contains about 11 cups of blueberries, which to me makes it a good value for the money.
But…this product fits the classification of processed food, and as such, some nutrients are likely sacrificed. Plus, it contains maltodextrin, which is made from food, but is HIGHLY processed and, according to research, CAN increase glucose levels.

My eye doctor recommended an eye product but I didn’t like all the additives. Checked the ingredients and ordered this product. It works great. Very pleased and so is my eye doctor.

This is good, very berry colored. Not gritty and not much flavor. Not sure if it is helping but I will continue to take it. I’ve been taking it for a couple months but haven’t seen any different results but know that blueberries are good for you.

Blueberries are such a powerhouse for antioxidants! Such a great way to make sure you are getting that in daily. Easy powder to mix & doesn’t taste bad!

I started adding bulk supplements to my diet recently. My father passed away in his mid fifties. My grandfather, and his father, passed away in their mid fifties too, so I sort of expected the same. All from heart attacks…so it was a concern. I had read some interesting articles on improving heart health by increased consumption of berries and decided to give it a try.
I blend fresh 1/4 cup each blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and rasberries and about 20 red grapes with 1 cleaned stalk of celery and raw purple cabbage, 10 grams of Bulk Supplements White Mulberry, 20 grams of Bulk Supplements Blueberry Extract, 20 grams of Beet Elite and 20 grams of Bulk Supplements Beet Extract and a scoop of Green Superfoods with about 5 oz of carrot juice and a bunch of ice. I take this 30-35 minutes before my daily run when I can, or immediately after. It seems to work best before – if I can give it the 30 minutes before starting. I had tried beet juice before, and got good results, tried beet elite before, got good results…but this concoction is delicious, and seems to work really well.
If just 20% of the articles are true, then my next check-up I’m hoping for under 150 serum cholesterol total (I’m at 180 now) stable blood pressure (been borderline high) and lower blood sugar (borderline high, but not diabetic)..we’ll see. I’m at the 60 marker, so I’ve already passed 3 generations in longevity, hoping to set a new standard.
Bulk supplements are good powder form, and for the amount I take, quite economical. Grocery store Blueberries, Blackberries, and Rasberries are a bit pricey, and this increases berry consumption with a lot less $.
The packaging is in foil sealing bags that tend to be difficult, a bit tricky, but I throw the foil bag inside a Gallon Ziploc bag with a slidelock and made it easy for me. So, even when the foil lock doesn’t stay engaged. the ziploc keeps it fresh.
