This stuff is very, very hot, as might be expected. What is not mentioned is that it is not at all soluble in water, which is a property I never thought about concerning table pepper. The pictures shows the after-shot of putting a half teaspoon in 1/4 cup of water in the microwave for 45 seconds. Before the heat, it floated on the top. After, it merely sank to the bottom. I had hoped to add it to a recipe I have for an anti-inflammatory cider I make with raw ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and cloves, given the help it gives to the absorption of these ingredients, all which are water soluble. Therefore, the best suggestion for those not planning to use it in recipes, I suppose, is to purchase small gelatin capsules and put the suggested 20MG dose in them to take as an oral supplement. I still believe buying in bulk for this expensive product makes good sense, even with this unexpected step I must now employ.

Great value & price. I’ve never looked up the lab testing of their products, but everything I’ve bought from bulk supplements seems to be legit and works as it should (based on past experiences with supplement in question).

Very fine water soluble powder. Dose is 20mg- even the smallest bag goes a long, long way.
Comes with the smallest scoop I own now. Gets all over my fingers scooping some out. Careful not to inhale any of the fine dust cloud that comes out when you open the bag 😭
I’ve only taken it a few days now stacked with a lot of other things while I’ve been sick all week, so I can’t speak to the affects yet, but I am impressed by the purity of this extract. I got it to combine with the 97% curcuminoids turmeric extract powder for anti inflammatory affects. I’ve always been dissappointed with turmeric & black pepper tonics, so I figured if there’s really something to it, I’d buy some *standardized* extracts and find out if any amount of this combination is actually helpful for me. If it changes my life I’ll have to update this but for now, still 5 stars, a good price on a highly pure and standardized extract. Standardized is important because the amount of alkaloids is measured and guaranteed as advertised. There are a lot of bunk extracts out there that could be 100x strength, but made with old, stale herbs with little alkaloid content left. Standardized typically costs more and this was a great price on the minimum quantity, which is still quite a lot

So I opened the package up. It looked like vanilla powder. Had a pleasant aroma about it.
Shook some on to my wife’s left over lasagna along with timeric and cinnamon. Took a bite and it was spicy hot. Keep in mind I don’t like nor tolerate hot spicy food well. But I liked it
I have been trying to add more spices to my diet. Learning the benefits of stuff like turmeric and cinnamon. This black pepper extract will be another I add. They should use a dragons breath as their logo for this product. I mainly purchased it for the pipeline in the product
