When it comes to fighting off colds and flus, I’ve always found that grapefruit seed extract is the very best for me of all of the immune fighters out there. Something about that little seed just gets into my system and acts like it’s the Navy Seal of combatting illness. Easy to swallow and I’ve never had it cause me any sort of irritation. Not even the stomach burn that I can sometimes get from eating grapefruit or drinking its juice. This is such and easy way to get that immune support without having to load up on consuming the actual fruit which isn’t always available to me within my home. These are good and serve me well.

As i am new to taking this supplment i havr not noticed anything good or bad from taking it.
If the information available about this supplement is correct it is something that will benefit overall health.
But as far as anything noticable i have not experienced.

I love grapefruit (the fruit) for its taste, nutrition value, fibers and its polyphenols with their antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties. Grapefruit seeds (the supplement) is effective to control blood sugar and cholesterol levels, among many other benefits. But we need to be cautious when consuming grapefruit, even supplements as grapefruit seeds, as it interferes with some enzymes (more specifically cytochrome P450) which breaks-down (metabolizes) certain drugs in the body, thus may resulting in overdose. Caution should also be taken as concentrated grapefruit seed may be too harsh on the good gut bacterium, if taken for long. I like Bronson Vitamins’s Grapefruit Seed and take 1 capsule (250 mg) per day (half of the 500 mg serving size) when, for instance, I feel that I am starting to have a flu. Alternatively, I may take the full serving size (2 capsules or 500 mg), but limited to one week. Bronson Vitamin’s Grapefruit Seed is third-party lab tested, which I highly appreciate.

This is so easy to swallow. It says that the serving size is 2 capsules, but I only take one per day, because I don’t like to over-supplement. This supplement is good for immune support and helps keep the gastro-intestinal tract healthy. It’s 100% vegetarian, which I appreciate, and I have not noticed any side effects. This seems to be a high quality supplement, and they even give you an expiration date and their contact information online if you have any questions about the item. The product arrived fully sealed. I think the price is very reasonable for such a quality vitamin. You would have to pay more for a similar item at a specialty vitamin store.

I can’t always get fresh grapefruit which I use for BP control. These seem to fill the in-between spots.
