This has a definite scent that I don’t mind, but could definitely be a dealbreaker for some people. I wanted to try out a baby detergent ahead of time to prewash newborn clothes, make sure it didn’t irritate my skin, and to make sure it didn’t leave a residue.
Not all free and clear detergents are safe for sensitive eyes and have warnings on the labels. There is only one brand that I’ve found, aside from this one, that does not have an eye irritant warning, but the other brand costs about $30 for the same sized container. The scent of this one isn’t overwhelming, but is very particular. In terms of cleaning power, I don’t think it will be effective on baby stains since (so far) it is weak on cleaning regular, lightly worn clothing. For example, it doesn’t wash deodorant marks off clothing. When washing white clothing, they come out looking more dingy than before putting them in the wash. For the price and how large the jug is, I’m happy with it, but you get what you pay for. It’s definitely easy to pour and doesn’t drip
Or make a mess. If you need something washed really well, I’d suggest using another detergent. For example, gym clothes or dirty socks will not get clean with this detergent.

Love that this is lightly scented and inoffensive! It just smells fresh but not overpowering! It is also skin friendly and doesn’t cause anyone in my family any allergic reactions! I primarily use it for the family’s clothes and bedding and use a regular detergent for towels. It keeps our whites white and our colors vibrant! This size usually lasts us a couple months so I do believe it’s a great value. It comes packaged carefully so as to not allow for any leaking.

This product was an unexpected surprise. I am happy to share that Arm and Hammer’s Baby detergent is effective with a great smell. The clothes get clean despite the spit, throw ups, and blow outs. Worth the price which is better than Dreft’s price. U highly recommend.

I love this detergent. I have used it for both of my babies (2yr and 2 month old) and haven’t had any issues. It smells so nice test is gentle on the skin. I love the value of it with subscribe and save and not having to worry about running out!

I’ve been using this laundry detergent for a few years, and I’m really happy with it. It’s gentle on sensitive skin while still getting the clothes clean and smelling fresh. The scent is light and not overpowering, which I love. It’s also free of most harsh chemicals, which gives me piece of mind. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a good amount of time! Highly recommend for anyone with or expecting a baby!

Smells so nice! Cleans very well. Great for sensitive skin. Lasts pretty long even though we wash a ton of baby clothes. I like that the clothes smell so fresh after we use this brand. Worth the money. I will continue to buy this one.
