This Botanist Moisturizing Body Wash is nothing to write home about. Although it does foam up incredibly nicely, the scent is not incredibly noticeable and the formula is very loose and thin.
Did my skin feel incredibly moisturizing afterwards? No.
I would say generally it is a bit lackluster and underwhelming. There is also some questionable translation concerns? What is green leaf? Do they mean green tea leaf?
Overall the best factor about this product is that it is incredibly lathering, but other than that I would say it is a pass.

This is my new favorite body soap for my bathroom. The smell is so wonderful! I can’t really explain what it smells like, but maybe kind of botanical and a little earthy? It’s just amazing.
The soap is fairly thin but creates a great sudsy lather. Doesn’t take much to cover my body.
I actually prefer this to any other wash I’ve tried in the last few years, just for the smell and suds. The scent lingers pleasantly for a short time.
At first, I had thought it was a hand soap and put it next to the sink. My friend used this to wash her hands last week and she came into the living room asking “what is that soap? It’s awesome” so I think it’s not just me with this opinion.

The scent is your basic soapy smell – nice, but nothing to pick apart in terms of notes. As far as the texture, it is also nice, suds and cleans well, and you feel fresh after using it. I gave 4 stars as I don’t specifically see much of a value over standard drugstore bodywash, but if you’re interested in the brand or ingredients, aside from that, it was good.

This body wash from Botanist smells like a fresh garden of herbs. I got the cassis scent one and it is very pleasant but does not last very long in the scent department. I like how this cleans as it does foam up quite a bit for a gel-based body wash. My skin didn’t feel stripped but instead, felt quite clean and smells good for the first 20 minutes out of the shower.
This is good for all skin types as it is very gentle. Though, if you hate smells, this is not the body wash for you. 🙂 Overall, I really enjoy the scent and would reorder it for that alone as the non-stripping formula is just a bonus.

My first impression, before I used it, is that it is thin. I was thinking it was watered down. But when I used it, I realized that it is SUPER SUDSY. Even though it is thin, you only need a very little bit. It has a nice fragrance. I can’t tell you exactly what it smells like but I do detect cassis and it is MUCH better than less expensive grocery store brands. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. This is a very nice body wash that is made in Japan.

This bottle does last for quite some time. It has lasted me for some months now and it does provide a good deep clean feel. I would say it is almost a bit too cleaning, however. My skin almost felt squeaky clean after you so I do wish it could’ve been just a little bit more gentle on my skin. But overall, it does work well for, deep clean and the smell is pretty refreshing as well. I also appreciate the rich lather it can create.

I recently tried the Botanist body wash, and I really liked it. The scent is pleasant and subtle—nice without being too strong. I also love that a small amount of the body wash creates a rich lather, which makes it last longer and helps me save money. The best part is that it is made with natural plant-based ingredients, so I feel good using a product that avoids harmful chemicals.
However, I noticed some things I wasn’t a fan of. The scent doesn’t last long after I rinse it off, which is disappointing. Also, to rinse the product off my skin takes more effort than other body washes.
Before you buy, consider the price, as it is slightly higher than some other options. If you are okay with spending a bit more, this body wash is a great choice. Overall, I liked the product.

It only takes a little to make wonderful suds and it smells very fresh, like new baby plants. I love plants, so maybe that’s just me! My skin is soft and not stripped after washing, I use it to shave with, and the bottle looks pretty as a bonus. This is one I’d recommend to my friends and family who don’t like sweet fragrances.

この商品の成分はよく知らないが、後でarauとかバックスの無添加のボディーソープの存在をしって直ぐに捨てて鞍替えしてしまった。もしこの商品がarauと同レベルの無添加だったら勿体なかったかもしれないのだが。。。
