Review for “[BONAJOUR] Ginger Aqua Relief Toner Pad for Sensitive Skin, Gentle Exfoliation and Soothing”

These pads are very thin and very wet. I find that they roll up under my fingers when I use them to wipe because they are so thin. They are also drippy. I’ve solved this in the past with other toner pads by adding a few dry cotton pads around the outside edge of the pads in the container. The dry pads absorb the extra liquid and then your pads aren’t as drippy. I found this also helped *some* with the pads rolling up though they still will because they are so thin. I really like the flip top lid of the container; makes it so much easier to take a pads out each morning and evening. I don’t see any difference in my skin over my regular toner, but I’m not seeing any ill effects so that is a start. They definitely feel comfortable on the skin. I’m surprised they do not smell like ginger at all. I guess I was expecting a refreshing ginger scent. Happy skincare!

Bonajour Ginger Aqua Relief Toner Pads For Sensitive Skin are toner pads with a clean and pleasant fragrance. The plastic tub holds 4.22fl oz of well saturated, unbleached gauze textured cotton toner pads. The manufacturer thoughtfully included a pair of plastic tweezers to help to neatly remove a single toner pad from the stack each time you use them. The pads are on the thinner side and feel overly saturated when using. Because each pad is on the thinner side, I noticed that it rolled up as I traced the pad across my skin. I really enjoyed the fragrance and was surprised that the ginger scent notes were not noticeable. The pads gently exfoliated my skin and felt very moisturizing. After using the toner pads for several weeks, I have noticed that it has improved the overall appearance and feeling of my skin. The manufacturer recommended placing the pads on any area that needs extra care -except the eyes- for 3-5 minutes. The product is Made in Korea. The product that I received has a best by date of 26 months from the date that I received it. Overall, I am happy with the positive results that I have received when using these toner pads. I just wish that the pads were thicker.

I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how it’s transformed my skin! It offers 100% soothing care while balancing sebum and moisture levels, making it perfect for my combination skin. The gentle exfoliation from LHA, a fourth-generation exfoliating ingredient, is fantastic. It effectively removes dead skin cells without irritating my sensitive skin, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my complexion smooth and clear.

One of my favorite features of this product is how it balances oil and moisture. It helps control shine in my T-zone while ensuring my skin doesn’t feel dehydrated. The addition of ginger is another win—known for its moisturizing properties, it really helps strengthen my skin’s barrier. Plus, the gingerol in the formula seems to boost my skin’s metabolism, giving it a healthy, revitalized look.

Overall, this product delivers on its promises. It’s soothing, exfoliating, and leaves my skin feeling nourished without feeling heavy or greasy. I definitely recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin or those looking for a gentle, effective way to improve their skin’s moisture and texture.

  4. Lost In Craft

I’m really into Korean skin care, and sometimes I like using pads instead of my usual bottled toner, and my teen also appreciates an easier way to apply his toner and saving himself a few seconds.

I got this mainly with my son in mind, he is starting to get pimples here and there, and I feel like these ginger pads might help with that condition.

Product comes in a large box that is sealed, plus there is a clear expiration date. The jar itself is an open lid that stays attached to the jar itself, the design that I really like. It comes with plastic tweezers to take the pads out in a more hygienic way.

You get 60 pads that are not floating in liquid like some other pads do, so you really don’t waste much once you are finished with the pads.

I couldn’t detect any strong smell from the pads, even though it has ginger in it. The ingredients look really good with no fragrance added, so I’m not surprised that there’s nothing strong to irritate the nose.

The pads are very thin, and the solution is just enough to wipe your whole face, your ears and your neck. It’s very refreshing and somewhat moisturizing but not to a point like some other rich toners are. So this will be just perfect for troubled skin, for oily skin, and for people who don’t want to have too much left on their skin once they’re done with their skin care.

The company also added a cute touch of including a small sheet of stickers to learn the name of the company in Korean, and practice it. Will be perfect for kids in your family who might want to do that.

I don’t usually bother with toner. I have found some that give me better results than even some serums, but I think it’s the psychological hang up of feeling like I’m just putting water on my face… and often times I’m too lazy to go find a cotton ball/pad.

This toner blew me away though. I was expecting maybe a clean, refreshed feeling from using this, but what I got was more visible results right away than from a spa facial. My skin was baby butt smooth to where I couldn’t stop touching it, and straight up GLOWING.

It takes a lot for me to notice glow. My skin is aging, it’s tired, and I’m tired. Lol.

I don’t know what is in these, but the product is an absolute steal for the price. There is no discernible scent, the nice format of including pads so you don’t have to get your own makes it easy to use, and there are at least a months’ worth of product in here. The pads are natural and unbleached, feel velvety soft, and there is enough product to use on your neck as well. Winner winner I’m in love! K-beauty for the win!
