I have not had to use one yet. I bought them for travel… bad curvy roads in Costa Rica and possible sea sickness. Quality seems very good w/ anti-splash pad. For me well worth the cost for the peace of mind. I have the blue round barff bags for at home or car.

These were so handy while I was pregnant. I would carry multiple with me whenever I’d go. Thick plastic, tied easily and came with a little tissue.

My sister is having chemo and really likes these. At home or on the road she is able to put these in her bag with no problem. They’re reliable, which is important as she uses transportation with her insurance and the driver’s use their personal vehicles so we always want to make sure we use something reliable. Update 4/21!23: OK. Still rate these a very high 5 star. These have been out of stock, so I tried two other brands. The strings in this were like thread – very thin. It’s a weird thing to say, but I LOVE these bags!!

I have a brain tumor and get sick daily. I’ve tried numerous vomit bags. They were all OK, but none of them compare to this one. It’s amazing what you get for the money. The bags are very well constructed and leak proof. There is a pad with some chemical inside that helps absorb the vomit. There is a small cloth outside to use as wipe on your face. It the drawstrings are different colors, so easy to find and draw very tight…. even in the height of vertigo. The bags are compact and easily fit in purses, pockets, glove boxes, literally everywhere.

I haven’t used one yet but I am happy with this purchase thus far. 1) It is more discreet to have at bedside and/or carry in purse and car than the vividly colored plastic bags with a plastic rim. (Those are practical and useful but they like a neon sign flashing “I FEEL LIKE I AM GONNA PUKE ANY SECOND!”) 2) Easy to carry in purse, bag, pocket on back of car seat, etc because they are folded into flat squares. 3) Less bulky than some alternative products for emesis situations. 4) There is the absorbent pad in the bag which (is supposed to) absorbs the vomitus to make it more solid and thus, less likely to slosh around or leak. It is also supposed to help with odors from the vomitus. 5) There is a nice little pocket on the front of the bag with a tissue in it so you can wipe your mouth off after using the bag. When I placed my bags around – at bedside, in car, in purse, etc – I tucked an individually packaged wet wipe in the pocket of each bag, too, and have no doubt that when the time comes, I will be grateful not to have to go rooting around for a tissue to wipe my mouth with one hand while I hold the bag with the other hand. As I mentioned, I have not had to use this yet but so far, I really like what I see!

I bought these to take with me on my first cruise because I get motion sickness and wasn’t sure how I would be on a ship that large. I wanted something I could carry with me at all times in case I wasn’t close enough to a bathroom. I have since taken them on my first airplane ride, as well! These bags are so easy to take anywhere with you because of how small they can be folded down. I love the absorbent pad inside and that each one comes with a tissue that is tucked in a pocket on the front. I also love the ability to tie it shut after use. I thankfully haven’t actually had to use one yet, but they are absolutely perfect for travel!
