I tried this Vitamin C out and it did not do much for me. Though I am a firm believer in liposomal Vitamin C as it has the fastest absorbency rate, I did not experience quick and effective results with this one. I purchased this in the middle of a cold/flu and saw no significant change. I will not be repurchasing this brand.

I like liposomal vitamin C because if I am going to be taking a supplement, I like knowing that the supplement is being absorbed by my body and not just being excreted in my urine. (Liposomal vitamin C is formulated to be absorbed in the small intestine when it attaches to the to the cells of the lining which offers efficient and more thorough absorption.) Since liposomal Vitamin C is formulated with fat particles, I believe it helps me with my ongoing and regular constipation issues; it sure seems to.
The facts: Liposomal vitamin C offers vitamin C in an enhanced-absorption formulation to support immune health and antioxidant. Liposomal is the method of delivering the Vitamin C and it is delivered in tiny fat particles where it can target cellular health. The fat particles allow the Vitamin C to be absorbed at about 85%.
I’m a firm believer in liposomal vitamin C. Very happy to have found this brand. I will come back and amend this review if it doesn’t work as good or better than my current brand.

From my wife Sarah: Liposomal vitamin C is important to keep in the house. We use it regularly and in higher doses if there’s a virus or infection. The great thing about the liposomal form of C is that it acts closer to an IV than the regular form. It’s also easier on the stomach. The only thing that in some cases could be considered a downside is that it stays longer in your body. While that’s usually a great thing, if you’re doing oxygen based therapies such as ozone or peroxide, it could keep it from working. In that case you’d want to avoid the liposomal form of vitamin C.
I love that this contains No gluten, dairy, soy, or GMO-containing ingredients. I wish I could tell the source of this vitamin C. Most vitamin C’s are made from corn which I prefer to avoid. Since I can’t confirm that this is corn free, I’m not using it, but my husband is since he doesn’t have an issue with vitamin C.
I do like the BodyBio brand. I find they usually have good quality products. So as long as you don’t care if it’s a corn sourced vitamin C, this could be a very good product.

I am working with a Functional Medical Practice on several health issues that doctors have been absolutely useless at addressing. This is one of the supplements they recommended.

Most Vitamin C supplements are plain ascorbic acid but there’s a newer and more expensive form called Liposomal Vitamin C. The difference between the two as I understand it is that with Liposomal Vitamin C ascorbic acid is delivered in lipid cells that bypass the digestive system which allows for greater absorption into the cells of the human body. Liposomal Vitamin C is supposed to provide much higher potency than standard ascorbic acid with an absorption rate that is twice as high and also stays in the cells longer.
No independent lab verified the contents so you have to take the word of BodyBio that the supplement actually contains what is listed on the label. There are three independent labs set up to test and verify supplement content (NSF, USP, and CL Consumer Lab) but, unfortunately, I very rarely see the symbol for any of these labs on supplements I’ve gotten through Amazon.
Based on the label at least this looks like a quality product. These come in soft capsule form rather than hard tablets. Probiotics typically come this way because the processing required to create hard tablets would kill the active bacteria. Soft capsules also allow much faster absorption. Other Liposomal Vitamin C supplements that I’ve tried also came this way so it’s probable processing would damage the limpid cells used to deliver ascorbic acid.
Dosage on the label is two capsules so you get one month’s supply per bottle making this a fairly pricy Vitamin C supplement option that should provide much higher potency than standard Vitamin C but since there was no independent lab testing it loses one star.

I love this company’s other products, the ionic mineral drops so I decided to try this for liposomal vitamin C. I was drawn to the fact that they used Quali-C! This is the only form of Vitamin C that’s manufactured in the West vs China. I’ve tried quali-C powder before but never a liposomal blend. The capsules don’t have a lot of fillers and extras like other products, just veggie pills, quali-C, and the liposomal blend of sunflower and palm oil. While this is only a 30 day supply, as the dosage is 2 pills, I have another liposomal vitamin C supplement that was 3 pills at 1200mg. So you’re getting 1000mg in two pills which I think is pretty good. The pills are on the bigger size but i had no problem with them.
While I prefer to megadose with Quali-C powder these are great for on the go or when I don’t have time for that. The quality is great. The only downsides to this product are the higher price (but I think it’s fair as you’re paying for quality) and the fact that they also use palm oil in addition to sunflower oil. I don’t have too much of a problem with this but some may.
