Like several other reviewers, this enzyme did not work for me and caused me to become very bloated – my stomach and abdomen. When I took a water pill/diuretic, I lost 2 pounds of water – it was that bad. I normally use Rainbow Light enzymes, but these had much higher amounts of enzymes and I had read about them in a Women’s magazine (the one where they recommend products at the end of the article), so I decided to try them in spite of the bad reviews. Well, the bad reviews were right…just because a pill lists high doses of enzymes does not mean they are active or even fully there. I am so bloated using these that my friend’s sister congratulated me on being pregnant! I am not!

I take these along with my protein shakes. I get a blend of milk, plant, and egg protein based powders. This product works great on blends. I only need about a third of the protein that I needed before. This supplements the enzymes that my body is lacking and I am getting results. I do not use them always. Only when needed.
I really have not found a con other than in normal conditions a person should not need this product if he has the right probiotics and a health gut flora. If you have a heavy strain on the body like recent surgery, heavy stress, or maybe heavy exercise you might need this product. I could help the elderly that have a slowing digestive system or that needs every bit of nutrition they can get.

I used these for months on end along side the Si’ enzymes, and they seem to have worked well after about 3-4 weeks, but they were difficult for me to keep up with price wise once i went through a hardship but I will say my symptoms deceased a lot when i was taking them regular basis, 3/day.
Update: these are the best for my ibs and stomach inflammation issues. I was off of them for about 7 months tried all other items on the internet and ended up in the ER 4 times within those 7 months. I started back on them 3 days ago, (for spectrum enzymes along with Si and liver support) it has saved my Quality life at this moment. I was recently diagnosed with a fatty liver and says on my kidneys I was in so much pain and found these in my medicine drawer and decided to try them again and oh my gosh I am glad I did I feel so much better so far I drink a lot of water with them. In response to the bad reviews it is due to the fact that they are taking the enzymes alone they need to take them grouped together because they work best

I was highly disappointed with this product! If I could give it a 0 rating, I would!! It did NOTHING for me or my sister. I bought a bottle for my sister and one for myself with high hopes. After all, it states that it has more than double of the active ingredient in Beano and many other benefits. We were both so excited! However, it wasn’t doing a thing for me. I gave it 2 weeks then checked with my sister. It did nothing for her either!! She stuck it out for 3 weeks with no benefit at all!!! When I returned the 1/2 used bottles to the company, they refused to do anything for me!!! I really feel like this product is like a sugar pill. It did nothing!!! We are back to Beano with no problems. Amazon did reimburse me for 1 bottle. I love Amazon!! I have never, ever had to return any product from Amazon. I wish they would have given me all of my money back but some is better than none. I appreciate their help.

These are potent enzymes, which alleviates the need to take multiple capsules with meals. And unlike some potent enzymes, they don’t burn my throat or esophagus. So, they were a great help when dealing with restaurant food, on a road trip etc….

Used this supplement to aid my own digestion and had good results, then tried using much smaller doses to help a cat with pancreatic digestive enzyme deficiency to digest the nutrients in his food. He re-gained the weight he lost from the deficiency, and is thriving.
