Vitamins/supplements are always hard to review but these seem to have a good ingredient list and goes down easy.

The brand is pretty well-known. And I like that it is vegan. I’m not an expert on this actual supplement so I really cannot comment on the efficacy. But I take supplements to be proactive so that is what I am hoping to do by using this. It is easy enough to take and doesn’t have much of a taste and it’s easy to swallow. So I say give it a shot if it has a chance and helping you.

Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help get to know the company and the product better, to help you determine for yourself if you want to try this one out or not.
This (glass, I love it!) bottle comes entirely encased in plastic. Normally I’m not a fan of that, but it could be to contain the glass if something should break it during shipping. It was packed great though, and arrived intact.
It comes about 70% full, which isn’t too bad nowadays.
If used as directed it will last two months.
The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not putting it on the bottom of the bottle!) is Jul 2026, so two years from now.
The capsules have a slight earthy (?) scent and taste, and are easy to swallow.
I like my supplement bottles to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This says non-GMO. The website says GMP registered, organic, and manufactured in the USA.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. The product page says they have been in business over 33 years. Their bluebonnetnutrition site is functional. For such a large company I find it odd they don’t provide a phone number, or at least a chat feature on their site. They have a listing on Google Maps and have a large building, at the address printed on the bottle, with their name on it.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like this supplement. It’s new to me, but some research on it revealed potential benefits that I am interested in. I would prefer no magnesium stearate; many companies say they need to use it, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements I know refuse to. They say they have a 30-day refund policy, but it says the item has to be returned in the same shape you received it, meaning you did not try out the supplement. That is not a return policy in my opinion; quite a few supplement companies allow you to try the product and, if it doesn’t work for you, you can return it in 30, 60, 90 days, and I’ve even seen some that say one year or a lifetime. THOSE are return policies =)
That being said, I like the company, I like the supplement, and for two months’ worth (especially from an established company), I like the price.

This is my first Bluebonnet supplement. The bottle is double sealed with cotton and desiccant inside. The expiration date is 07/2026. The pills are easy to swallow and I didn’t have any negative side effects. I reached out the seller via Amazon Message asking for the certificate of analysis and GMP certification and was denied. Bluebonnet has been around for over 30 decades and it’s a bit disappointing I couldn’t get assurance that their product is pure and safe.

This Ipriflavone supplement has 300 mg in each capsule and the serving size is one each day. The full list of other ingredients is: “Vegetable cellulose, capsule (hypromellose, purified water) vegetable magnesium stearate.” This supplement has no bad smells and seems to digest well even on an empty stomach. I’m satisfied with it.

As with any supplement, I cannot speak to the efficacy of the product, as I have no controls or test data except my own experience. I can say I have not broken any bones since taking it, but that’s not really proof. The ingredients listed are generally what are recommended for bone health. The capsules are an average size and easy enough to swallow. There are no unpleasant “urps” that dry capsules can sometimes cause. I sure hole they are helping these old bones.
