We have used the blackhead strips before from other brands. Most are similar to a Band-Aid that you put on and peel off. There are not like that. You have to use a really wet strip that needs to be left on for an extended period of time, like 10-20 mins. Then there is another step and finally you can manually remove your blackheads. It’s a waste of time and money with this product.

I was assuming these were like other nose pore removers that you apply wet, they dry and you peel. This is a two step program and both applications are sopping wet, requiring numerous steps – first, steaming your face with a hot towel etc, then applying nose strip for 15 minutes, then while still wet (they don’t dry), removing the strip and removing blackheads manually, then opening another package and putting on another wet strip to shrink pores. Way too much effort and if I wanted to manually extract blackheads, i wouldn’t have ordered a remover strip.

This takes a lot to do.
First, the skin needs to be cleaned the then nose heated with a towel. Then use the first strip. The first strip will be really wet, so wet some liquid will spill out. The strip comes attached to some sort of mesh that needs to be peeled off. Application to the nose is easy as the shape is fine. The strip will have a slightly unpleasant smell. Then it will need to be left on for 10-15 minutes. During those 10-15 minutes, the entire time the skin will have a burning irritating feeling.
Second, after peeling it off. The skin will show peeling due to the effects of the first nose strip. Then the cotton swab will need to be used to remove blackheads. These are included, but are black so its hard to really tell if blackheads or anything is being removed by them. Mostly I feel like I am just peeling off more skin.
Thirdly, the 2nd nose strip will have to be applied. Again it will be super wet and have some liquid spill out. This time it will have a cooling nice pleasant effect, it still smells not great. After 10-15 minutes it can be removed and then excess essence will still be on the skin that needs to be patted dry.
There is still some irritation leftover from the first strip.
Overall, it takes a lot to go through this whole process. It does seems somewhat efficacious. But I don’t like to rely on harsh skin peeling to help my pores. It may be a short term solution but long term, my skin doesn’t react well to harsh treatment peeling as it will overcompensate.
Amazon User Since ’95 –
I recently tried the Ugirl Blackhead Remover Strips, and they seem to work fairly well – but these are a multi step process! I was expecting stick and peels but these are just 5 applications and require multiple steps. These strips effectively cleared my pores and removed stubborn blackheads, leaving my nose feeling fresh and smooth.
Tip: For best results, ensure your skin is clean and damp before applying the strip to maximize adhesion and effectiveness.

Made my skin sting a bit and my nose a little pink. The second step with the pore toner did make my pores smaller though. I feel like this is an okay product. Won’t likely get this one again.

When I first opened it, the liquid got everywhere. The strips are very saturated with liquid. I thought these would be the kind of strips that would dry and pull the blackheads out. I wore the strip until it was mostly dry, but realized it wasn’t sticking so I went ahead and took it off. I rubbed my nose really well with a cloth, and most of the blackheads did start to come out with no squeezing. The pore minimizer strip was also really wet coming out of the package. My nose was red after I used it for a while, but the redness did go away after about an hour. I do see a noticeable difference in the amount of blackheads on my nose.

I love these blackhead strips! They work just like the ones I get from the store, but even better. The adhesion is great, it dries in place quickly, and goes on smooth. It took a ton of dirt out of my pores. You can see the results on the strip when you take it off! Highly recommend.

I don’t always have a lot of blackheads at my age, but when I do, I like to use a product to get rid of them. This seems like a pretty effective solution, which not only loosens the blackheads to be removed, but also has a second stage to tighten those pores back up.
Effective and a little expensive, but not too bad.
