I’ve tried countless carpet cleaners, but nothing tackled my pet’s “gifts” quite like the Bissell Professional Pet Urine Elimator. This concentrated formula is a game-changer, and I’m here to tell you why it deserves a 5-star rating across the board.
Performance:
-Stain and Odor Removal: This carpet cleaner is a true odor obliterator. My pup had a few “accidents” on the living room rug, and the lingering smell was making me desperate. Bissell’s Professional formula went to work like a magic wand. Not only did it remove the visible stains, but the Febreze freshness neutralized the odor completely. It’s like my rug got a spa treatment!
-Tough on Set-in Stains: I also tested the Elimator on an old urine stain that another cleaner couldn’t handle. I figured it was a lost cause, but Bissell surprised me again! The concentrated formula lifted the stain and odor significantly, leaving the carpet noticeably cleaner and fresher.

-This carpet cleaner is incredibly user-friendly. The 2x concentrated formula means a little goes a long way, making the 48-ounce bottle surprisingly long-lasting. I simply diluted it according to the instructions and used it in my carpet cleaner. Our Jack Russell was recently sick and usually doesn’t pee in his crate. On the rare occasion that he does he aims to go outside the crate so it isn’t in his crate. It ended up on the carpet near the wall and it stunk. I bought this for my Bissell Big Green Machine carpet cleaner hoping it would work. I used the hand tool to get close to the base board and then used the machine over that. While it was drying you could smell the Febreze but could also kind of smell the urine smell. Now that it has totally dried you can’t smell the urine at all. If you get down close to the carpet you can smell a very small amount of odor but it isn’t bad. I am going to hit the carpet one more time with this cleaner and that should take care of any lingering odor. It also cleans the carpet really well. I was going to have someone come in and professional clean the carpet if this didn’t work and am happy to say it DID work!

Accidents happen, and they’re usually my fault or the dog is sick. I have used this on pee, the runs, bile, vomit and also food. As long as you’re quick about getting to the mess this stuff will work well. It smells good

Had to use it to get puppy pee stains out of the carpet in our new house. Used this in our bissell pet pro carpet cleaner & within the first pass the carpet was 10x cleaner. It looked brand new. I’m not sure if it dried quickly, or if it was the machine that took most of the water out or it was the fact we left our windows open all day but we did it at 12pm & by 10pm it was dry. Will purchase again.

I purchased this to take care of a pet urine smell on our carpeted step. This spot gets hit regularly by our dog and only is noticeable after a few soakings. I have tried a few different carpet cleaning chemicals including pretreatment and the urine smell is still there. I decided to give this product a shot and wow I was not expecting it to be so fragrant. It could be overwhelming for people who are sensitive to scents but this stuff made the whole house smell like Febreze. I only applied it to a small section a few times as I keep washing until the fluid runs mostly clear then follow up with clean water until that runs clear. I didn’t really notice it at first but I walked outside to get something then came back in the house and the smell was so nice. I was a good 20 feet away from where I applied it and it greeted me at the front door. I must have been desensitized to it while washing the carpet but going outside then coming back in I smelled it instantly. I would definitely recommend if you are trying to clean and deodorize the carpet because this does mask smells nicely. Now that is where I need to be specific. This did work well in removing the majority of the smell directly from the carpet where it was not detectable even a few feet away but when I get right next to the soiled carpet, about 6 inches, the smell is there but not in the amount it was before the washing. I do think there is a better method for getting the smell out but it likely involves pretreatment, washing and drying. I do think this is a great product for not only getting the carpet clean but leaves a nice scent for 24 hours at least. Perfect for those trying to sell a home or who are expecting visitors and want to leave a nice scent in the air. I would advise against those who have scent sensitivity to use this product as it is very prevalent.
