I bought this as an impulse buy, used the bottle, came back here to see how much it was to buy some more, and saw the price and was like “nope, it’s not worth that”. If you’re doing keto properly you definitely don’t need this. Now, perhaps if you’re not really committed to eating right or you have some social obligations that require you to eat out at some non-keto-friendly place, then sure, maybe this helps with that. But as far as day-to-day normal adherence to a ketogenic diet, you don’t need this, and would probably be better suited with a chromium supplement instead, it’s much cheaper. I love some of the other biotrust products, which is why I tried this out, but they are always a little on the pricey side, and for the price, this isn’t for me.

With Pcos insulin resistance, I get so exhausted and drained eating even the smallest bit of carbs. I probably shouldn’t self medicate, but I haven’t had to take my meformin now that I’ve found this. Sometimes my metformin would make me feel worse when taking it.
If i take this with a meal, I never get drained or sleepy. If I forget to take it, and feel
Weird after eating; I take it and about 10or so minutes later I’m better.

Update: I am still using IC 5 for my diabetes. A gastroenterologist wanted me to try metformin again stating it was improved. WRONG!!! It took me a month to get straightened out. Never changing again.
Original post. I have used Bio Trust IC 5 for 4 years. I am pre diabetic and cannot use metformin. I researched and found IC 5. It has natural products and controls my diabetes. My A1C levels stay between 5.7 and 6.2. I don’t get the roller coaster ride that metformin gives you. So glad that my research led me to IC 5. I originally ordered from Bio Trust which is great but found it on Amazon and can get it faster with prime shipping. I love this product.

This works great! I had been having a hard time lowering my A1C, but after 2 months of taking this my A1C went from 8.7 to 6.4. So I have been able to enjoy carbs with any worry.

It took a while to notice a difference, but now I am….I’ll be able to tell when I get my next A1C reading …..but so far, I’m impressed.
What I didn’t like was that after receiving the bottle, I noticed a warning not to take if you are diabetic. I had read many comments from diabetics who had mentioned a noticeable improvement in their blood glucose levels. So, I contacted my endocrinologist, who approved of taking it.
